it is so sad and disgusting how elephants are kept in zoos, circuses etc and abused. it is abuse to simply have them in captivity. they are family and social animals. they need companionship and family to be happy. these are such intellegent animals and we torture them for our greed and amusement.

how shameful of the human race that we find abuse and torture the only way to amuse ourselves.

This is so awful.The human race needs to get over itself and realize we are not the only beings that matter.These elephants have hearts and souls and feel the same emotions we do or should. I am deeply ashamed that this is still continuing and that people have not risen up enough to stop animal abuse.
