Thanks Terry!

This happens way to often, sadly the drunk driver is the one that survives and the innocent ones that get hit die. I see this all the times in the News here in Southern California. One person even got on the freeway going the WRONG direction! Insanity at its purest form!

For this man to have survived everything he had and to have it end with a stupid driver getting into his car (a weapon) is so sad, prayers go to his family.

I do know California has very strong laws and people can call 911 if they see someone weaving back and forth on the roads -- always makes me never want to drive late at night to many crazy people out there, and in my opinion just one drink is one to many!

Thannnxxx Terry.. the guilt this man must be feeling after sobering up must be a "sobering thought of guilt and regret" unfortunately this seems to be a trend and strict measures should be implemented sooner than later..

I don't know how this can be prevented. DRIVING DRUNK. It's the RESPONSIBILITY of the people around a drunk person to make sure his car keys are confiscated. If you have to, call 911. You might save someone's life.
