I hope and pray that Jack gets better. We can only hope that the two hatemongers that did this have a spiritual awakening. This is a prime example of how we have our work cut out for us; to spread the message of peace and non-violence.

It amazes me that with all the discussion and diversity training that people are exposed to they still don't get it. Where are we falling short of the mark of spreading tolerance? Should we beef up education on this subject in our schools starting in the lower grades? These actions of beating people when, for some reason, you have a different life style is totally unacceptable and we should make it known as such.

When does violence against our Gay and Lesbian brothers end. Enough is enough. Can't we all live in Peace with each other. I bare no ill will against anyone.

This is such a spiteful and atrocious attack against a human being... just becausehis sexual orientation is difference does not mean he deserves this sort of punishment... crimes of hate should be punished severely.. I hope this man gets better soooooooom.

There will always be hateful, ignorant and stupid people. The question is... how do we live with these "people"? Personally I would leave them in prison for a very, long time. They need prison cells to be away from the rest of us. I would let out non-violent drug-users (not dealers) which would leave more space for the violent people. Violent offenders can stay locked up until they are too old to do anything against society.

well, well ! i guess Jack was lucky! according to the one piece of trash's sister he doesn't hate gay? omg!! think of what might have happened to Jack if the guy actually hated gays.no matter what the reasons behind this discusting act, they are not acceptable in any way, manner, shape or fourm!it was a hate crime, and should be prosecuted as such! to the fullest extent of the law !this could have quite easily have cost a man his life . there should be no excuses accepted ,no deals cut no time off for so called "good behaviour".they comitted an horrific crime now they should pay with sustancial time, out of there own lives.thanks Lone Wolf
