I wish I could believe it, but I fear it is another cover up for the real agenda. See the recent news on Tamiflu inoculations leading to illness in Ahousaht and government body bags sent to Manitoba first nations community. When those signs are put right, I will believe that a bill like this will be a wonderful thing, but right now it looks as though there is a hidden agenda for more death and less help for the first nations people who have already been so horribly wronged. Bills sound good, but put it into action!

Thank you Terry. Healthcare is chronically underfunded as well as the set up on resz, like the one near me. The grocery store there a chain market called Ray's ( northern CA, Hoopa) is full of junk food!!!
It is by far the worst market in the Ray's Market chain. Nothing but highly processed foods
Really terrible. So there is a lack of healthcare as well as promotion of unhealthy toxic foods.
That is the only market up there!

I,too, will believe it when I see it. I called my family on the rez and they said the health care was "better" but they could not understand anyone that worked there so big breakdown in communications. Most were asians or foreigners to our country. However, in my book, it figures!!!! How the hell do you get "fixed" if the doctors or nurses don't understand what you are sayin????!!!!!!
The other problem people don't realize. You can't good produce or fruit on a rez. By the time they get it, IF they get any, it has been to other stores and is on the verge of being spoiled but the price is outrageous for rotten produce and "fruit". Sad but true.
