Justice must not be done but seen to be done. The investigation needs to be open and transparent and all results properly published and any punishment justly given.

Another incident of police abusing the use of tasers! All people that are given tasers to use should be properly trained and educated about when they are appropriate to use and when they are not needed! They also need to be made aware of the great harm a taser can cause. Thanks Terry.

You cannot see anything on that video..it is not just shaky..it is dark and very poorly taken..

If there was any wrong-doing..I do hope it will be investigated..But..as far as what the video shows..You cannot see anything taking place..

Thanks Terry..

Thannxx Terry.... the police need to be trained in not over reacting to a "mild" situtation... there are degrees of law enforcement... but in a case like this it is unjustified..

The police need to know or be trained to the difference between a minor incident and the times the real crimimals need it.

The police are supposed to protect us, but who will protect us from the police?

Thanks a lot, Terry! There have been far too many cases of police all over using tasers too frequently, and then ordering the tasered person to stand up, etc., knowing it is *impossible* to make the muscles work properly for about 10 minutes after being tasered. There have also been far too many people killed by being tasered. Anyone, such as myself, with a history of heart problems, could easily go into cardiac arrest from the taser. We've seen films of police being subjected to tasers, before they go out to use them.. first, they know it's coming, and how much voltage they'll be subjected to; they also don't have multiple prongs stuck into their bodies; and they know that medical help is there if needed.
If it's still available, try to find the case of the young student with a book, who attended a John Kerry speech at his university, and when the young man tried to speak up (waving his book in the air), the security officers thoroughly put that young man down, then ordered him to stand.. because he couldn't, they tasered again and again. It happened in Florida.
There are a few places now where police are being ordered to not taser a person in the chest, because of the possibility of long term serious effects.
I'm not in favor of anyone breaking the law, but when police overreact, they too, should be brought to justice.
