Norfolk, Va. - It's the pride of the Navy - and it's finally heading our way. The New York, made with 7.5 tons of steel from the wrecked World Trade Center, is leaving its home port of Norfolk Naval Station

I wouldn't want to be on that ship. Innocent people's lives were taken on that day by a our own government. Yes there were heroic acts that day..there were also many people jumping from buildings so that they didn't burn to death. Thousands of scientists contest the "official report" of what happened. There is blood on that steel, and I suppose they had to do something with the evidence. Why not make a ship?

Why not Michelle it is a floating legacy to the ones that were lost no matter if the governments hands were in it or not. I would be proud to serve on that ship. It would mean so much more than one just made out of plain old steel. This ship would feel almost alive....

Considering the war mentality of our Government this does not surprise me. Taking the steel from the very thing they used to start 2 wars and using it to transport the men and women that will fight in it, is a bit to ironic for me.
