A man who was arrested for drunk driving in Porter County pretty much admitted it wasn't his first time loaded behind the wheel

That is not something I would brag about.. tis nothing to be proud of ... lets hope some time behind the bars and time away from the bottle might change his mind

Leave him locked up because obviously he will not stop. No second (or hundredth!) chance.

I live in New Mexico, U.S.A.; we have a very sad statistic: near the top nationally of road deaths caused by drunk drivers. Too many repeat offenders, even though many lose their drivers' licenses. Judges let cases drop, crooked law enforcement and DA individuals protect their own, intoxicated drivers get behind the wheel without licences....I don't agree with incarcerating these people. I do agree with suspending their driver's license on the first conviction and impounding their personal vehicles on their second conviction. Make it harder for them to get out there.
