Ilya, the lovable lost manatee, is going home next week. He's scheduled to be released into Miami's Biscayne Bay Tuesday.

Gotta love those happy endings and would you please keep us updated on this one...want to know.

These Manatees are so endangered and with all of the boats running into them the oceans etc. it is so horrible...they are such gentle creatures and sadly when all of Mankind has distroyed this Manatee from all of their JOY RIDES in Flordia they are gone for good...

They are a true wonder and gotta love that face on them!!!

That's quite a hike/swim, Ilya. What's that on his back? A wound from a boat propeller? Glad he's put on some weight and hope he'll be ok, given the boats in manatee habitats.
