As temperatures plummet and heavy snow blankets the northern hemisphere, it is not just people who are feeling the effects. The wildlife too has been forced to find new ways to keep warm, as Penny Spiller reports.

Sending a Green Star is a simple way to say "Thank you"
You cannot currently send a star to Lone because you have done so within the last week.

My daughter lives in WPB and the Iguanas are just laying around and look dead because they cannot stay warm enough to keep moving.. Not a good outlook for the next few days. Thanks T

Sad for the Wildlife and Fruit crops. Weather in Ga is saying maybe a little warm up after Sunday. Keeping fingers crossed for GA and FL. It's cold as whiz !

Hope everyone & everything hangs in there. I haven't seen it this cold in Houston far back as I can remember. Only bright side I see is maybe the fleas won't be as bad this year. I've used my heater more in the last week then the entire time I've live here. Freakishly Cold!

Hoping it will warm up....
you would think there would be something the people could do to protect these animals from freezing to death, can they not use heaters or cover them with something?
