Sadly the same thing is happening in many places.Cowards do this sort of thing, everywhere. This is why it is becoming more dangerous to live alone now.

I'm sorry for that couple and hope the attacker will get a heavy punishment.
I wish in Spain the so called Law was more efficient and harsh. A cple of weeks ago a mother (85) and her son (56) were killed in ther café/bar.The bouty 30€. Most probably, if the ppolice catch the killers, the sentence will be 18 years = they will be out after 12, ready to strike again.

I agree this this is happening more. This is so sad. I do hope that Ms. Hood and Mr. Heyman will be allright.
These are violent, and sometimes fatal attacks. I hope that this guy gets a long prison term! Just six weeks ago, up in Austin, a 75 y.o. lady, was pushed to the ground, she fell, (after she was hit in the face with a kids' elbow..) hit her head and died in hospice care. In a Taco Bell Parking Lot!!! The kids who did this????!!...14 and 17 y.o.'s respectively, were going through a 'gang initiation'. We always lock our doors now. Even coming back in from the back yard. What a shame. TY, Terry for this
