noted, thanks for the article Terry... considering that all of this used to be reservation land and the gov't took by ways of eminent domain I'd say these people have the right to provide for their families as they see fit... =)

A Treaty, Pact, Contract - whatever you want to call it, must be honored. As the Cave Men had to protect their caves and hunting sites so do the Native Americans have to protect what was promised to them. Keeping quiet and waiting will get you no where, fast.

Noted and I agree with the people in the article. You've got to stand up for your rights and if the Native Americans don't do that they're just going to be taken for a ride by the White Man. They have lived of the land and the water for donkeys years. They honour the land and seas and lakes but won't overdo it. The Native Americans have learned to take enough to feed their Tribe and certainly won't overdo it. It's the White Man who'll fish and hunt for a sport and that is what's wrong.
