Very strange court case - what muddled evidence - if you can call it that--and that is supposed to a an "artists" sketch of a boy of ten or eleven ??? With a TEDDY-BEAR ???? WHO IS KIDDING WHO ? ?

This is a very sad and confusing tale. I would bet that at least one of the boys, if they are truely guilty, was abused himself and was acting out the abuse. I feel very sorry for all involved, as all are going to be traumatized by this for the rest of their lives. If these boys have no conscience at their age, they are going to be a great danger to society later. If this is somehow all a mistake, what a awful one.

It makes you wonder where they even learned about this type of behavior. As Rebecca S. states maybe one of the boys was abused shimself.

This is crazy to take this to court. When I was young there was a lot of "you show me yours and I'll show you mine" going on and it certainly didn't involve "rape". These are children for heaven's sake involved with curiosity regarding sex. It should have been handled in a better way.

this case is so complicated. two vs. one, did they touch her with consent or did they force her, 10 and 11 isn't 4 and 5, but it's not 16 and 17 either. unfortunately, we'll probably just have to wait and see what happens next. it reminds me of the 10 year old english serial killer, mary bell. she strangled and mutilated a couple of boys, was sent to reform school, and was let out at 23 yrs. of age. she went on to have a child and stay out of trouble. anyone interested can read about the case here:

This is insanity!!! Where the heck are the parents?? How the heck do these young children even know about rape, sex, and what any of it is all about? There have to be some screwed up, dysfunctional families where these young children see and witness acts of violence such as this for them to know even about how rape is committed. Something needs to be definitely investigated in these families about what these kids are seeing with their own eyes. It is difficult to fathom young children committing crimes with their own bodies, with guns, when did 10 year old's quit being kids and become criminals??? This world is surely a screwed up situation.

Thhis is why punishments should be based case by case
