The only thing the oi companies care about are dollars! Lost dollars from the escaping oil, lost dollars from the cost of clean up, lost dollars from the spotlight being turned on dirty energy, lost dollars from the depression of share price, lost dollars from the compensation claims against them lost dolars in potentially remaovable government subsidies, lost dollars in their plummetting reputation and exposure of poor safety practice. The only reason they are doing anything to cap the well is to stop the lost dollars wild animals plants hman livlihoods are simply colateral damage in the energy companies war on nature!

I have read about this shocking thing I have seen the damnage it has done and thought on the damage that will be done - for I believe that no matter how quickly they stop the flow - the major damage has already been done - the wildlife in the seas will be maimed or killed by this spill and it is now destroying land - too much time has passed!!! Love & Light TY LW

Why is British Petroleum allowed to come to the USA and drill 0il wells and take it to Europe? Why is not it drilled by American companies for use in America? They used a dispersant that 0n news was said T0 be 1 molecule short 0f being antifreeze. We all know how toxic that is. Now that a large amount of that has been released, how can they "P0SSIBLY" clean that up? It has to be in the environment for a long time to come. The government should NEVER have allowed that to be used. The government and BP are not utilizing all the resources at their disposal. Many companies have volunteered assistance but they appear to refuse it. On the news last night they said the fisherman who wanted to help clean up the oil were not allowed to, they were not "trained". After what British Petroleum has done to the waters and environment with oil and dispersant, really, what harm could they do anyway. Let all who want to assist do so. Hold British Petroleum and Obama responsible.

Norway has sent equipment and experts to help dispearse the oil in the Gulf but it's sitting idle??? One more disjugment of BP,Blackwater and the US authorities?? Scandalous since we have the knowledge of deep sea drilling in the Arctic sea.Stop bickering and let's help each other.
TY Lone.

Ok, it is now Sat. eve. 5:30pm CST. They have finally admitted they went to "Junk Shot" yesterday and failed to tell anyone. They say we will know better in the morning, which is what they said about today. "Top Kill" had a 60% chance of working. "Junk Shot" only was to happen if "Top Killed" failed, yet, they admit that is what they are doing, while not making any statement that "Top Kill" has failed. So they are lying, again, and will keep lying, you know they are lying because their mouths are moving. What does it take! Build berms as fast as you can, get hay out on that oil (by they fishermen) as fast as you can, and you have just pumped not just the oil but almost a millon pounds of deodorized kerosene in the ocean! What are you going to do about that? GET ON IT NOW. BP is incompetent and has lied from the start. Please, we are running out of time down here. Get a clue!
