This isn't exactly new. I've been paying my bills online for years now. It certainly is convenient. I dislike having to mess around with writing out addresses and checks and getting stamps.

You hear so many pros and cons re: on line banking, but for me it is the only way to go. I agree with Ra Sc.

Many of the new names are just shiny nameplates on the same old oligopoly. Read the small print.

Unfortunately, we've just had a reminder that Paypal is not, as people like to assume, independent of Big Money. They've had to admit that their latest censorship of e-book publishers is not their doing, but forced on them by the banks that process their cash.
