Bless her heart. You know one day I would like to think the American people would stop being satisfied with the choice of taking the lessor of two evils, depending on which side of the coin you look from I suppose. But instead I would like for all of us to have a choice between the better of two goods.

If anyone watched the debates on Democracy Now, they got to see not only the sad and tired Republican and Demorcat Parties, but they were able to listen and watch Dr. Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party give their answers on the same questions given to Obama and Romney. I'll tell you, Rocky Anderson and Dr. Jill Stein were so much more clearer and understandable. Their ideas of how they wanted to see this Country move were full of life, had great vision, and either one of those two Parties would be far better than what we most likely will get stuck with.

The American people are very foolish and it will unfortunately cost many their lives, their health, their sanity, and more will live in suffering and despair, as well as our environment will continue to be marching in the wrong direction for the good of all our relations around the world. I just don't get it when we have alternatives. I understand that not everyone realizes we have these other two marvelous parties, corporate media has made sure to keep the people in the dark, but when I know of people who agree with the Justice Party or the Green Party and yet will still throw their vote at whatever "their" lessor of two evils are, just blows my mind.

Indeed we need a New Deal......right now we are getting a Raw Deal.

Dandelion, as always, you are so right. All we have ever gotten from the two-party system is toxic free market capitalism i.e. the ultimate RAW DEAL. We need a green new deal to lead us away from the horrors waiting for us with fossil fuels and nuclear.

Thanks, Lois. The reality is that Obama is going to win. He will win, even if 5% of the vote goes green. However, this percentage is vitally important to the future of our nation. If the Green Party and their candidate can win 5% of the votes in November, the Greens will automatically become eligible for 20 million dollars in federal campaign funds for 2016. They will also win a seat at the 2016 Presidential Debates. It's too late for the Greens to really change the system this campaign season, but if enough of us vote green this time...then we will have the chance to make a real difference. The capitalist parties will have to answer tough questions about their track record on alternative energy, campaign finance reform, the environment, health care, and other issues. They will also have to move their parties back to the center to center-left in order to compete with the Green message of economic justice, environmental healing, and a Green New Deal.

5% is all we need for a green future without sacrificing the reality of the present.
