What's in a can of Walmart's 'Great Value' tuna has been caught in the some of the most destructive ways imaginable. These destructive fishing practices kill tens of thousands of sharks, sea turtles, rays and other species. Please, sign the petition.

Signed. I can't see Wal mart suddenly caring about where or what source of the profit, so long as it is profit.

Thanks for signing. I agree; it is difficult to envision a corporate behemoth suddenly changing course. But, we have the power of social media, at least for now, to energize tens of millions of people around the world to boycott Walmart, to picket their locations, and to make shopping at the Beast as socially unacceptable as possible. Times are hard; money is tight for working people all around the world. The siren song of low, low prices is quite hard to resist. But most people do not want to be seen as scabs. We need to not only make Wal-Mart conscious of how unacceptable its actions are; we need to make consumers aware that shopping at Wal-Mart is immoral, unacceptable, and uncool.

Gladly signed Brian..As always your petitions get to the heart of things .. I must say though we can sign everal petitions , but WalMart sees dollars and unless the public starts to educate themselves, this deep pocket corporation will continue to do things that destroy our marine ecosystem.
Thanks for this petition

Signed with the hopes that someone in Wal-mart care enough about the environment to make this a priority. What a concept, a humanitarian response toward a change. Hope they think this through and make it happen. Hoping but if they dont, I wont buy the tuna or product there.

Thanks to supporters like you, Safeway is now selling responsibly caught tuna on their shelves. Our strategy is working, but we need to continue to put pressure on big chains like Walmart to force the rest of the tuna industry to change.
Thanks for posting Brian!
