We need more people than ever to take a stand and to take action to save this planet. Paul Watson is an example of what even a single person can accomplish for the good of this world.

Watson (and Bob Brown for that matter) has passion and integrity, he'll only bow for the environment! Good on him!

lol, this is not a surprise... my son Nicklaus is setting up to go out on the sea shepherd rescue mission this summer for training. If he is well liked and it goes well, he can be transferred with schooling and actually do an internship and continue with them for a year.. blah..for me but this is what he has been dreaming about most of his life.. he is 16. So hearing the fact that they are not standing for some bullshit corrupt order that don't really sound valid pro-whaling injunction.. not a surprise at all. Go Paul and the team...move on!

I am shocked that the U.S. would hold Paul Watson in contempt! Where does the U.S. stand on whaling? What back room deals have completely overshadowed the reality that the Japanese are killing whales, cutting them up and packaging their meat aboard their whaling killing machines and then sending their 'product' to countries including the U.S. where 'sushi' restaurants serve and profit from whale meat!
The ONLY clarity for me is that Captain Paul Watson and those likeminded demonstrating the same courage and integrity and who are willing to risk their lives to save our 'Buddha Beings' from the Japanese deserve to be protected not threatened !

Everyone on this planet should be on their knees thanking Paul Watson and Sea Shepherd for having the guts to do what we all should be doing! And what is the world doing? Trying to block him at every turn. It's insanity! The world at large still doesn't get it: if the oceans die, we're next. Japan is doing this because they can, not for any other reason. Whale research be damned, there is no research, there's just plain murder. if the IWC had any backbone that loophole would have been closed a long time ago. Makes me wonder how much money has changed hands. You go, Paul, you do what you have to do. I wish you a safe and successful campaign with outstanding results. But even if you only save the life of one whale, then your efforts will not be in vain. Godspeed, mon capitaine, I am with you in spirit :)

dumb Japanese! it is no longer a scientific research nor whatever excuses they come up with!! i simply don't understand Man's greed not even need for marine and environmental resources that are dwindling day by day. we could understand that this court injunction is politically motivated. like Thomas Paine said: Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.

Paul Watson is my HERO! I have goosebumps typing this. Take no #!#! PAUL and he certainly doesn't ~ Ummm Paul for President. Nope we need him in our Oceans ~ IMHO he should of be listed on the FRONT PAGE OF TIME MAGAZINE as the Top Leaders/People in the World.

BTW for any of you that do not get the Sea Shephard News to your E-mail, please do go to Sea and sign up, tons of petitions there and information...if you can they need help too with all of these ships ramming their boats hurting the crew...Paul YOU ARE THE BEST!

Patrick Caruana and Sarah Malik, AAP, Capt. Watson is a CAPTAIN, not "Mister." Show respect, please!

It is ridiculous that ICR even exists. It is decades past when the barbaric practice of hunting whales should have gone the way of the human sacrifice. Any enlightened nation should see this.

Captain Watson is a braveand compassionate soul. Keep up the good fight. The government always sides with the animal killers. The majority of citizens are for you. Shame on our policy makers.

Japanese ships are allowed to kill whales only because of their "pretend" scientific whaling program- because they are lying sons of b*tches, the Sea Shepherd has my U.S. given permission to foil their plans.

The struggle to save whales as part of the larger effort of saving our planet from destruction is not merely a matter of legalities and is nothing less than the struggle for the survival of our own species as well as all other living things.
