"We want Greenpeace down there," said Captain Watson, "We would like anyone with a boat and the ability to navigate in the Southern Oceans to be down there. The whales need help from all of us. I will not criticize Greenpeace for sending a ship down to An

Will Sea Shephered have the power to stop the killing?

Do you know that every negative thing has also a good side?
The good side of the crisis is that if people who do not approve the killing of whales stop buying Japanese products the effect on the Nikkei Index is 10 times bigger than in a growing economy!

I dont know why Paul Watson who seems to be a very intelligent person does not call for a boycott......

I call for a boycott and i call for a support of Sea Shepherd

I will pray for the whales and the people that will help them. I still boycott Japan and will not stop. I am so glad to be back with my friends that help the oceans and its life. I have missed you all and ready again to help the fight for our oceans friends.

Have nothing but praise for the people of this world who actually get out there and DO SOMETHING, even though it might not be the most effective method - at least it is A method. Doesn't hurt to launch a 'visible' protest to remind the whalers that the world is watching and reporting. The 'Sea Shepherd' crew should be congratulated for facing the odds singlehandedly.

Also support the other ideas as stated above, such as, petitions, boycotts and addressing the Japanese Government officials.

Thanks Cid M. for the official site for the Japanese Administration. - Going right there!

We have learned that Petitions do not work against the Japanese Whaling Company which is now run by the Japanese Govt. The Japanese do not even acknowledge the Southern Marine Sanctuary killing whales there, also within Australian and other Territorial waters. The Whaling and fishing industry is run by the Yakuza (Japanese Maffia) and is totally corrupt. They issue their own Whaling Permits from Japan plus a self-allotted quota (which no one can accurately monitor). Japan lies claiming they must kill whales for "scientific purposes". All information - DNA Aging, etc can be gotten from skin sloughs and plugs. Sea Shepherd is the only organization which will take Direct Action against Whalers, Poachers and marine law-breakers not holding up protest signs, but actually stopping the illegal activities. There is a MORATORIUM against whaling. Where is the debate on this? I don't see any.

We have told them we are against whaling, we have written and signed petitions and still they don't listen. How do we get thru to these unenlightened people? They are still wearing the armour of yesteryear, nothing penetrates!
