Vote to Stop Shark Finning and other inhumane killing. Sharks are dragged onboard, fins cut off the livng animal, and they are thrown over, to die slowly. 'Protect Cocos Island', will fight this: http://www.membersproject.com/project/view/ WXKZ1S

I am not a member, but I would like to say that what these people are doing is wrong. If they only knew what they were doing to this world. They have to think of their children and others. Is life only about money,or is it about happiness. THEY HAVE TO STOP THIS CRUILTY!!!!!!!!

Sharks are a vital part of the ocean ecosystem. To destroy them would be akin to removing humans as the top predator on the land (not a bad idea, actually... just kidding!)

The Cocos Island is a very unique marine environment and we are destroying more of the habitat faster than it can recover. We MUST protect this and other important marine habitats.

Horrific and cruel. What is wrong with people in the cruel indifferent world. It is a true test of character....how you treat animals! Cruel and sadistic people do these things to animals and think it is o.k. Animal cruelty is linked totally to violence against people!

People in our rich, selfish and greedy society have more than enough to eat.Why do these people have to kill sharks and cause agonising deaths just for one portion of the body? Not to mention the dolphins that accidentally get caught in the mix. Sharks and dolphins are such an integral part of our oceans and without them our oceans would die.

I have lived without eating shark fin soup my whole life and I urge others to do the same.
