The Bush Administration wasn't the first to suppress and disrespect Science. It won't be the last...if aspiring politicians such as Sarah Palin have their way. In a conservative-leaning culture, the science that doesn't immediately result in perky/flashy technologies such as internet and cell phones is easily dismissed if that science grates the government's (corporate and military) agenda.

The Cheney/Bush administration will no doubt go down in History as the most corrupt, uncaring, un-patriotic terrorist, warmongering gang of criminals to be 'selected' (they were not EVER legally elected) to deliberately run the country into the sewer and into financial ruin.
