Wildlife Are Getting Their Heads Stuck in Our Trash

This month I've noticed several stories about wildlife with their heads stuck in various containers. It makes me uncomfortable each time. I mean, they're unable to see, eat, drink or get it off their head. Here's a recap of stories this past month.

We have to stop treating our surroundings as trash cans---they're not. It pains me to see our precious animals suffer because of our laziness and ignorance. Thanks Giana

I hope that everyone who has ever left theit trash in the middle of the forest (instead of taking it back with them) will get their head stuck in something similar.

What is this terrible mal-creation called human?

I became a long....long ..... long walker years ago. I used to walk for ten to twelve hours at a time, Early, I made a promise that I would never toss away my trash except in proper containers. I also began to pick up other people's trash.

I felt if I was going to walk this much, I had a responsibility not to litter. I still have this tendency to pick up other people's trash. lol

I wish people would take more care. It must be terrifying for these creatures and how many end up suffocating before they can be freed, I wonder.

If everyone took their rubbish home instead of just dumping it , it would cut down drastically on these horror stories of the wildlife suffering because of some stupid peoples' laziness.

Our trash is going to end up somewhere. If you don't recycle it, it will end up in landfill or dumped at sea (depending on where you live). If you can't recycle it, flatten it, make a hole in it or cut it up, lest it become a deathtrap for some poor creature in another place....
