There is evidence that the scientists have affirmed there was a world before this one that was destroyed by nuclear, yet not destroyed forever. The grass remained in the stomach of the Mammoth.

Genesis 1;1 states In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Looooong time passes.

Jewish writings are not as time bound (past, present, future) as we bind them.

looooong time passes

Genesis 1;2 NOW the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

THEN Creator began to repair.

"Let there be light".

In this order, it makes sense.

We are not reading about creation but about repair.

Before the already created sun and moon and stars could be revealed, the atmosphere of darkness would need to be cleared away.

How loooong before a nuked planet can even begin to recover?

Time is illusion.

They still look like they came from an age of dinosaurs ...look at that reptilian skin....and some dogs do have short legs like the working corgis that were used for herding ....getting down low enough to avoid be kicked when the animal retaliated, agile and quick thinking
