Important article....what is wrong with Madrid? High art?! What's the difference between this and the barbaric gladiator fights of ancient Rome? YUCK. Thanks for sharing this article! That's shame not heritage!!!
While most Spaniards opose bullfighting Spanish government make them paying taxes to keep the cruelty alive!
It makes me sick when I think that politicians always can find a way to protect the worst cruelty.

Gee what a surprise. No wonder I have no desire to ever visit Spain. The only good thing Spain has is the Running Of The Bulls where the Bulls can get some payback. Bullfighting Cultural Art, what a croc of S**t. As time keeps passing humans keep looking more pathetic.

The government telling the people how it will be. As Ekiem says, 70 to 80 percent of Spaniards are against bullfighting, but their very own government does not want to faithfully represent their views. Thank you Anne. Sad news, but let's hope it will soon be over-turned.
