Now in its 126th year, the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, is still going strong and even attracting a growing overseas crowd.

Phil's prediction this year makes him stand alone among the groundhog weather guessers. Five others say otherwise.

Let the poor groundhog sleep in peace. The article failed to mention that groundhogs have a very long period of hibernation, which in this case is disrupted for human entertainment. I agree with PETA. They have their hands full with animal abuse 365 days a year, so please excuse them for focusing on this issue when the rest of the country is focusing on this issue.

When you stop and think about it, it's kind of weird. We have a Canadian counterpart called Wiarton Willie. He's an albino groundhog.
