We need to do something about this plastic problem. Plastic is not natural, it is man made and plastic floats and chokes the environment. It disrupts the food chain. If many people across the globe will pull together a difference can be made.

a chemist by education, I refused to work for chemical industry, and have been fighting these windmills for many years...

recommended viewing:
Midway. Message from the Gyre a 6.5 min vid; pictures worth a thousand words
and
"Plastic Planet"
Plastic Planet (2009; 95 min) (available on DVD, for free incl. mailing in EU - from me), at the premiere of which documentary were distributed stickers that read (my transl.:) "Plastic makes infertile" - "Plastic kills animals" - "Plastic is detrimental to your health" - "Plastic is bad for your heart" - "Plasic disrupts your hormonal balance" - and more, which are, unfortunately, out of print.

Still available the ones I made (years before seeing this film) and still make:
" Plastic, ... => dioxin, ... => Krebs " -- available from me (free; postage in EU included)

" If people pay for water [or, even worse: ultra-junk like caca-cola] in a plastic bottle, they're going to suffer any indignity " -- Derrick Jensen in watch?v=BrvfTpWP-g8

" People in the U.S. buy more than half a billion bottles of water every week. That is enough to circle the globe more than five times. " -- The Story of Bottled Water (2010) 8 min *must*see* watch?v=Se12y9hSOM0

resources ingeniously used and money well spent in a sane society of sane people.

There need to be a reverse in the way we package . Forty years ago, soda. seltzer, was sold in glass. The huge wave of buying water in the 90's brought plastic bottles that are choking the environment. Coke needs to rethink its product .Both Pepsi and Coke need to return to the 5 cent returnable bottle.
The Earth cannot stand any more abuse.

God, I just wished I had you to help me sooner! Out of all psychics and spell casters I had.. you are the best. Especially, when you gave me results in 8 days...to me YOU ARE gbocotemple@yahoo.com

I recycle every inch of plactic I get my hands on that is soft or hard.
People have really got to get it into their heads how damageing plastic is.
And there ought to be a law & a steep fine for not recycling all plastics.

Wherever you go there once was a forest.
Plant & protect Danny's trees for life.
Trees are the lungs of the earth.

P.S. Brana, you are off your rocker and
need a new life and get lost!
