This is something that should be a basic human right, the right to live without violence or the fear of violence. Why does this have to be renewed and be a part of the political games, with this critical issue being held hostage each time. I can not say I feel great that VAWA was Finally passed again. There should be no discussion. Like abortion or contraception, if this were violence against men, it would be a Constitutional Amendment, not a bill that needs to be renewed.
