Animalia, Thank you ! With the ever rising price of gas this is a double blessing for all of us who wish to donate. What a wonderful and thoughtful helpmate this is, to those of us whos hearts are with those cats.

Purrrrrfect for Mothers Day too!

Thank you, for letting us know this, from the bottom of my heart,

Science Diet too, Stephanie....we all might be shocked if we knew just how many of these companies test (and I don't mean just feed) on animals. I personally use Eagle Pack products (expensive but well worth it). Another good alternative is Innova/EVO. Bon appetit, babies......

And recently Nutro was bought by Mars, one of the most blatant animasl testing companies. Boycott their candy too. Disgusting things they do to animals.

Yeah I personally don't like Iams but posted this more for people to have a place to bring food and stuff and not have to drive far. Basically, they are looking for quality cat food, whatever it may be. Basically, since cats are carnivores, you want some sort of meat to be the first ingredient listed and many cheaper ones list grain as the first.

I have never heard of Eagle Pack but I will look into it.

Eagle Pack makes a holistic line of products. Their Holistic Solution is about the only thing I have found that will stop diarrhea in animals in 24 hours or less in some cases. I use it when changing diets in cats and kittens which is usually when that condition will occur. Innova/EVO is another good quality cat food also.

MAggi, I am sorry but I can't help but wonder if you would have posted this on a Pro-TR blog entry. I know that you feel it necessary to bash this side no matter what but please keep the cats in mind. If I actually thought you boycotted all animal tested products and led a vegan lifestyle, I would welcome such a comment. But you don't. And I can't help but feel there was negative intent involved in your posts.

So, to everyone, please just donate quality cat food, whatever brand you choose. To Maggi, please try to think about how your decisions are going to affect the cats involved, not me or anyone else. Often, if you are trying to make me look bad, you may harm the cats instead. Thank you.

Again, I am not trying to start a fight on here, but you know how I feel about such things. This was posted so people have a place to donate, not to promote animal tested products.

Anamalia, please. Would it make you feel any better if I told you I was a vegetarian but not a vegan? At the time you asked that question, I was just too irritated by the other assaults and recriminations to feel the need to share that info. The Tiger Ranch issue is a touchy subject to alot of us on both sides. Although you may not believe it, I am very interested in the health and wellbeing of those cats. I won't go into any lengthy discussions on this site, I just found it necessary to let you know that alot of those petfood brands conduct horrible tests on those animals, something I thought you of all people would want to know. I have no desire to make this board a forum for my views on the case. Shalom.....

I apologize then, Maggi, for making an incorrect assumption. Thank you for being as passionate about animal testing as I am. I honestly appreciate that we have something so important in common.

To everyone else, just donate the best quality you can. Canned food is needed more than dry food. Thank you.
