Boy, you really gotta scroll around on care2 to find something you haven't seen before. I was hoping for a real werewolf and a real "Darwin Killed one" story. Leave it up the evolutionary fundamentalist theorist to go all droll. I think Darwin did kill the werewolf. He was studying theology before he got that boat. Probably thought they were demonic, killed them and started an evolution story to throw investigators off his trail. There - that's more like it.

Personally I like vampires better...but werewolves are furry creatures and I do have a thing for furry creatures. Yep, it is a real story and not from Onion news. Doug may have this thing figured out, he seems to have a solid theory working there.

The werewolf dont have to be a hybrid it could be the end chain of a different evolutionary species.
