Gingrich Surges With Old, Familiar Ploy: Racist Attacks on Poor People

Gingrich argues that the reason so many people are on food stamps is not that the economy has thrown millions into poverty, but rather that lazy black families are getting on the dole and don't want to work.

That nasty, slimy, whoremonger slob. He's out for nothing but power, GREED & his own political self interest. If he gets elected, it'd be like having "Boss Hoggs" for a President. Lord help us all. Lets make sure this slimeball gets defeated!!

It just goes to show that his preconceived perception that food stamps equates to blacks clearly shows his lack of actual data, because the majority of those on food stamps are white and the number of whites going on food stamps has dramatically increased since the economic downturn. The number of blacks on food stamps has increased too, but at much smaller numbers. Obama may be viewed as the food stamp president, but it was GW Bu$h's policies that lead to the huge increase in the number of people needing food stamps.

I will say though, I am pleased to no end that he won by such a large margin. The longer the infighting goes on among republicans the better. By the time it's time to run against Obama all of their dirty laundry will be public knowledge. It got pretty nasty in South Carolina and you can look for it to get even nastier from here on out. Each new national poll that measures a candidate's favorable rating has shown both Romney and Gingrich getting higher unfavorable numbers.

At least Gingrich cleared up any questions about why we have public schools. They are there for kids to learn janitorial skills.

Some how only The Newt could look directly at the camera and tell us how he will set the NAACP straight about why they don't want and should not take food stamps. Now we do know the reason for the increase in diabetes and obesity in this country, food stamps.

These comments are stunning - STUNNING - Deb gets to Newt's character, Ralph understands the political arena, Kit get's the campaign skill and gist of the message he runs on - and I agree with you all - I do think it speaks volumes about the character of the State he ran in tonight I predicted this one - nothing to be proud of, only I do understand the slime of racism and where it festers the genesis of santorum if you will - it also speaks about the character of the country's most hideous face - President Gingrich - has a nice ring to it - doesn't it! we need help!!!!

Sadly Lee, there is no Knight in shining armour that going to ride in to save the day. This one is on us. We had better put aside all the endless bickering and get the vote out or we could see President Gingrich/Romney/Santorum (ick). We need unity - strong unity.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact he has the balls to be back running for office. Does the voting public have amnesia, or are they too young to remember his contempt of congress?

When I watched the debates a few nights ago, I was amazed by the way Newt responded to a question about his former wife's allegations that he wanted an open marriage. He went ballistic, bullied and insulted the moderator, and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has serious anger issues. Did the audience voice their disapproval? To my surprise, they applauded and cheered him on! He's arrogant to a fault and considers his intelligence to be superior to that of everyone else. This man's integrity, both politically and morally, has been permanently compromised. He's not fit to be the president of this country, and we have a duty, as citizens who love this country, to make sure that he NEVER holds the highest office of the land.

Let's also remember that Newt pushed hard for President Clinton's impeachment over sexual misconduct. This attitude of "do as I say and not as I do" is the mark of a true hypocrite!

Once again people polled said they voted for him because they wanted someone "who could beat Obama".
They deserve this POS, who's going nowhere. There just aren't enough stupid people, despite what it may seem.

Newt is a wolf. He doesn't even have sheeps clothing on.Hey everyone. South Carolina's results are in and Newt one. By the way the 4 of them are talking , there are some deals going on. 7 pm and 1 sec later the winner was announced. Newt. I guess I am going to have to accept this is how it is done in America. This voting thing, like in Iowa people voted and the votes are missing in 8 counties and what they did find Santorum won

Well let me try to write this. Obama caused everything that is wrong with America. That's the --R--'s excuse for everything. People are out of work. Obama did it.
okay; The --r-- party are completely out of touch with reality or they want us to think we are. I listened the each of the 4 speeches after the vote tonight and thought---what reality are you in. SO very out of touch with what is really going on and what has happened. so much lying and threatenings and delusions with double talk and opposites that cancel each other thing out. Using peoples complaints of pain and promising them everything to give them nothing like after the 2010 elections.

Alright-- Teh dems thinking all of America was on the same page repugs and dems. We were not. The president and dems recognized the crisis and proceeded to try to stop the bleed and turn things around for the 99%. That was not on the repugs mind. They were hell bent on finishing what they had began Under President Bush and cheney and had no intention of working with the dems or this president on anything that would bring any relief to the 99%.What I fault this president of is kissing their buttocks and trying to bring us together by letting them have their way. No matter how much the president caved at our expense; they still hated him and taunted him to let them control him even tho they lost the election didn't matter.
The stimulus package was put in place and monies was there for the taking to the states for their troubled economies.

It was to help the people of those states in a time of crisis. Many repulican govenors wouldn't take the monies, like South Carolina. Some took it and gave big checks to cities in their states while publicly denoucing that the stimulas didin't work and didin't create jobs. So if you are hurting in your state it is not the Presidents fault look to those in your state who wouldn't let monies or relief get to you.
While working seemingly in slow motion to draft healthcare for all to make life and sickness easier on all; The repugs incited with the Koch bros the tea party and older people in wheelchairs with o2 tanks to protest against their interest against the healthcare bill. With the help of palin they were all incited so heavily that some were moved to violence. The senators and congressmen and woman, called town hall meetings trying to explain what was truly happening but the gun toting and gunslingers intimidated those meetings and wouldn't let the truth be told. So the lies prevailed.
Palin and her cross hairs and targets put on peoples homes.
palin and Demint incested about who should be allowed to vote and who shouldn't; which mind you, that they have been working to make sure it is going to be the way they want. Perry going to suceed his state from the union. christie putting his state at risk and teahing how to be a bully and succeed. Ex- bankers like the Ohio governor and the greatest conspiracy to take over states strip them down and call for appointed emergency managers while giving the tax monies away to their corporate friends. Elaborate schemes to break unions.

Stripping Americans of their rights. Mocking the poor. stripping the middle class of their wealth and coming back to finish them off, while saying Obama did this to you. Not at any point did they care about any American having any jobs, any relief and now any money, or foodstamps or a house to live in.

I call them a cast of bad actors. Not to mention the church leaders. Not all but the ones who did. They prevented their following from getting relief from the govenment which is theris/ours not mitts, or any of those candidates. The government belongs to the people of the USA.
Now that people don't have money to pay their church dues, they can't keep their churches going. So they shot their ownselves in the foot. There are news tapes of the past 3 years and who did and said what. The repugs are the reason for the season. They want others to share in the blame or solely be the blame. As they introduce themselves, we learn more and more how out of touch they reallyare..

Ole Newt; With his contract with america was said to be at the time his contract --on -- america. Newt was third in line for the presidency and he was trying his best to eliminate those in line before him so he would be the one left to be it. Being drummed out of leadership, Newt went on his mission for his vision of the greater good .He and bush's brain Karl Rove have always been a strong pact with others to run things on the GOP side. Diebold, and the --R-- party played for bush to win the 2000 elections.Whatever went on in that party you better believe Newt is not far from being in the loop cause he is up there with the planners. Within this first decade he was/is heavily engaged with his buddies in getting bush elected, hearalding the iraq war gaming Bin Laden and giving America someone to hate. Always his m/o There are news tapes of his group and their ideas of wanting the reigns of power happy about afganistan and iraq. Doing nothin to create any jobs or save people from food stamps. Now his name comes out about fannie and freddie and God's knows what else he has been in to. Then we have mitt who has not shame and never will. Now people are finding out about their 401k's and the stock market and their pensions and crony capitalism and tax papers. A lot of arrogance, deceptions. I ask myself what is their definition of greatness and when was America ever great and what idea are they restoring us to greatness. The world and our nation is war weary, tired and these fools are beating the drums to go fight someone while they sit on their buttocks and eat drink and talk jargon that makes no sense. And I am qite afraid that paul is going to show his following who he really is. I heard him tonight and he is starting to reverse his bait and switch. What is attractive is attractive but he's not going to deliver. Listen closely at his latest ending speech and who he really is, is revealing himself. Santorum; back door deals are being made. You can just tell it. His reality isn't real and he is talking all over the place, like pau.. Newt stands their like a cat who swallowed the canary. hmmmmmmmmmmmm. and the beat goes on.

Pam W "The man has balls" - so does a rabid hyena!

We are told he divorced his first wife when she had cancer, and committed adultery during his first marriage; he divorced his second wife (after committing adultery) when she had MS, - what kind of mackerel-backed swine with the morals of a single-celled organism do the Republicans want leading them?

If he will do that to two life partners that he went through a 'solemn' ceremony in front of witnesses with and took vows in public that he would do no such thing - what on earth will he do to the country?

Ohh, I see someone is not at all educated, experienced, or remotely aware of what goes on in society. He's far too busy with his head voluntarily up his rear, giving his speeches to avoid hearing what others have to say. Guess who won't be getting votes from most -- if any -- of the African American population in our country?

Here's to hoping you fail, Gingrich! :)

Notice how they complain about mainstream media; but they still use it. If they don't like it so much stay off of it. Newt to me reminds me of the character the PENQIN--. Mitt reminds me of the character ther JOKER--. BOTH lying schemeing con artists.
In a few of those t.v q&a's the rest wery trying to get the joker to tell everyone how an avid hunter he is. The joker wouldn't admit it.
I am itchin to learn what that was all about. wHAT POINTS were they trying to get the joker to admit?
Is he doing something criminal in/with his hunting? Is he hurting people? Is he not this nice man? Does he have some sort of killer fetishes? I wish they would finish what they started.

The debates should be called THE CON MEN COMETH---.... Watch for your souls and guard your hearts.
They know how to play your emotions, woo your hearts and corrupt your reasonings.
I bet anything the people in the room /the audience is a well chosen one to perform the planned response.
They know exactly what they are doing. They are duping the public.

In Alabama 36% of the people are on foodstamps.
Wonder how many will still be Republicans after their foodstamps are cut off?
Presently Republicans account for about 70% of the voters.

Oh my aching head. Newt is Obama and they are both globalists that are in the thick of it all. They are both anti middle class and pitching and batting for the same team. But to make that into a racist statement is to buy into the BS and to ignore the real problem with BOTH of them. Get off the nonesense and start spreading the new about the real dangers with BOTH of them. Its not about RACE it is about creating another slave class and most of you people are going to allow them to get away with it.
