Before the Gatewood Galbraith for Governor Campaign in 1991, few Kentuckians knew that the plant that the federal government had demonized for over 50 years as "Marijuana - Assassin of Youth," was, in fact, Cannabis Hemp, the most traded commodity in the world until the mid-1800s, and our state's number one crop, industry, and most important source of revenue, for over 150 years.

Today, thanks to the efforts of pioneer hemp researchers and public advocates such as Galbraith, Jack Fraizer, Jack Herer, Chris Conrad, Ed Rosenthal, Don Wirtshafter and others, the federal government's unjustifiable suppression of our state's right to develop our most valuable and versatile natural resource, is facing increasing opposition from an informed public. Hemp is now recognized as the number one agriculturally renewable raw material in the world, and perhaps the only crop / industry which can guarantee us industrial and economic independence from the trans-national corporations.

"Shadow of the Swastika" is a follow-up to my earlier work, "Cannabis Hemp: the Invisible Prohibition Revealed," which I wrote and published in support of the Galbraith Campaign. Since publication of that booklet, there has been growing public acceptance of the evidence that Marijuana Prohibition was created in 1937, not to protect society from the "evils of the drug Marijuana," as the Federal government claimed, but as an act of deliberate economic and industrial sabotage against the re-emerging Industrial Hemp Industry.

They both start with the letter H??? Actually the government just wants to make money and since history repeats itself - here we are again - another prohibition concept?

Hemp is a wonderful product. We grow it here in Ontario. It's worth the oil alone for the health properties but all of it can be used in so many ways.

Kit, green stars don't begin to do you justice. I just hope that everyone learning these facts and the history behind this conspiracy will start speaking out. This issue is the defining one of our time. If Americans can't come together to put an end to this crime against humanity, then I don't see much hope for us in ending any of the injustice the world faces. The Corporations win.

A very very long, but excellent read. Very well-documented and referenced. Just a couple of things; 1. Ford actually had a vehicle built, made of hemp and fueled by hemp.
2. And, this is Very important; the following quote is completely wrong!,
"The great fortunes of the Rothschilds and Warburgs had been diminished to insignificance by the Depression, the Nazis, and World War II."
If the author had researched a bit deeper, he, (she), would realize that Rothschild is the banker to the bankers, and the family has been for over 400 years. The Melons, the DuPonts, the Clarks, the Rockefellers, the Morgans, the Dulles bros., and all the rest entrust their monies to one banker family, and only one---the Rothschild banking family. Also, the author implied that Hitler owned IG Farben, the company that kept coming up as the common thread with American industries investing in Hitler. How the hell is Hitler, who was a mere private in WW1, going to be the owner of IG Farben? No, Rothschild owned IG Farben. Didn't the author wonder why None of Rothschild's castles, palaces, or villas was ever even damaged by either side in WW2? And, Rothschild still has many such properties throughout Europe. No, Rothschild didn't make the Fortune list because he didn't want his families' name on the list!
Ever since the mid 1800s the Rothschild family major goal was to own their own nation. In 1917, the British Balfore Agreement promised the Jews a homeland. This government document was addressed to the head Rothschild. Rothschild worked with Hitler and the other industrialists in order to get the state of Israel. Rothschild didn't care how many Jews Hitler executed. In fact, the more the better for world sympathy in creating a new Israel after the war.
If you doubt who really runs Israel, go to Israel, and look at the street names in every village and city, or look at the plaques on the Kinnesit building, the Supreme Court building, and a hundred othe government buildings in Israel.
No, the Rothschild family is far from "diminished", they are at the peak of their power. It is their hand even behind our latest world economic crisis. They own controlling shares in central banks worldwide, as well as the World Bank, IMF, etc. etc.

Balfour actually wrote about one paragraph to Baron Rothschild to eventually turn the problem of a Jewish homeland within Palestine over to Rothschild to figure out. A short paragraph that brings us today's mess in Israel/Palestine. Though leading into WWII it was the strength, power and money of American industrialist that helped to build Germany, none as anti-semitic as Henry Ford.

The point over all being that without the few real money people, policy is not made, not in DC or other countries. This 1% is not isolated to the US, these people have been running the world from time infinitum. Names may change, policy and equality do not.

One of our government's biggest mistakes was the Volstead Act, also known as Prohibition. It was supposed to have been repealed; it just got switched to different drugs. Ban the DEA and scrap current drug policy, it's as big a mistake as Prohibition and should be abolished. Hard drugs should be controlled by medical staff, not government; let the AMA take care of real narcotics and amphetamines and the like, leave the mild stuff (alcohol, tobacco, cannabis) to local governance and 'no driving under the influence' laws!

The roots of 20th Century American politics can best be illustrated by the 1896 Presidential Election, won by Republican William McKinley by a landslide. The McKinley campaign was directed by Marcus Alonzo Hanna of Standard Oil and raised a $16,000,000 campaign fund from wealthy fellow industrialists, (an amount that was unmatched in Presidential campaigns until the 1960s). The major theme of the campaign, and one that would echo far into the future, was "what's good for business is good for the country."..."of the corporation, for the corporation and by the corporation."
I'm learning about the Alcoa scheme, the DuPont and General Motors Black Legion, GM and Farben, Exxon, Remington, Ford, the Dulles Brothers, the Vatican...all in collusion with Nazi Germany.
I want Rockefeller Plaza renamed...
"One aspect of this Standard - I.G. Farben relationship, revealed in testimony during the Patents Committee hearings, chaired by Senator Homer T. Bone in May 1942, is of interest to those who seek direct evidence of a conspiracy by big oil companies to suppress development of synthetic substitutes to petrochemical products such as industrial chemicals, aircraft lubricants and fuel, all of which can be made from hemp:"
Medicines (not controlled by big pharma), products from hemp, green energy (remember the electric car in the 20's?~ List o Ten Hybrid-Electric Car Makers Before 1920
Poor New Jersey. We're mentioned too many times...
Thank you Kit...Sent to friends and relatives and printing for my Aunt with no computer. History needs to be revealed and mistakes NOT repeated...boy do we have work to do

and, here yet AAAAAGGGGGAAAAAIIIIIIINNN, one of my comments has (been) disappeared -- THERE IS SOMETHING very VERY VERRRY ROTTEN on KILL2, er pardon me: "care2"

Remarkably, in sharp contrast to doggedly deleting some comments, care2 does not even manage to delete spam-messages when the spammer's profile is deleted. This has been going on for YEARS. See also: my notes (blog) "Care2: suggestions for improvement", esp. items A-2, A-1
