"What Lawson never understood was the degree to which he was hated in Memphis. They feared [him] for the most interesting of all reasons - he was a totally moral man, and totally moral men you can't manipulate and you can't buy and you can't hustle."

A man immune to intimidation and bribery... I bet elites have felt very uneasy when their best tools didn't work.

"The fight for the civil rights of workers who come here from all over the world is the same as the Freedom Rides of 1961 and the continuing struggle for civil and human rights for all."
I think it should read "The fight for the civil rights is the same as the Freedom Rides of 1961 and the continuing struggle for civil and human rights for all." to cover ALL the civil rights we've ALL lost due to Bu$h League policies & the civil & human rights some of have never had - including same-sex marriage & Union forming.

Am I wrong, or Kit's comment is missing? I could have sworn that her comment was here when I posted mine.

It's interesting to me that people know or think they know who the founding fathers were; who Lincoln was, FDR, JFK, MLK, and Bobby Kennedy, but somehow because this man did not seek or show-up in the limelight his incredible journey and contributions are barely acknowledged.

Yep, Jelica my comments from earlier are missing - I guess Care2 is wonky again.

Trolls are causing this, I have flagged several late last night and earlier today. I guess that admins have risen shields to purge trolls, and it takes us much more time to do anything here.
