On the 'Daily Show,' host Jon Stewart mocked Fox News and its outrage over the supposed 'War on Christmas' tonight.

In the beginning of his segmant, Stewart said Christmas can only be “defended only by the brave souls at Fox News” (video below) such as Gretchen Carlson, who wondered aloud if she was "crazy" to think there was a War on Christmas.

Stewart added that New York City is a “godless, secular, gay, Jewy, and hellbound," but is decorated as if “Santa’s balls exploded” all over the city, reports

Stewart pointed to all the stores that sell Christmas items and all the Christmas specials, including a Flintstones Christmas special.

Stewart joked: “There’s a Christmas special celebrating Jesus’ birth thousands of years before the birth of Jesus.” (Flintstones, Christmas Special)

Jon Stewart is awesome.........where is Faux's outrage against the war on Hanukkah (or Chanukkah), or Eid/Ramadan, or Kwanzaa, or Winter Solstice celebrations???????

Jon is very welcome for lightening the attitude with laughter amid so much unChristian (i.e., not in accordance with Jesus's commands) and unBibilical behavior in the news. Thanks Kit! Good points Dave...You cannot currently send a star to Dave because you have done so within the last week.

There is no "War on Christmas" and contrary to Bill O'Reilly Christianity is a religion, yes a part of that religion is a philosophy that many from all over the world have believed is the best way to live our lives. The belief that Jesus is the son of god is a religious belief. I wonder what is wrong with O'Reilly? I guess that beginning the shopping rush now on Thanksgiving is strongly indicative of a war on Christmas?

People that have nothing to complain about are still searching for that "something" to whine about. Thanks to Jon Stewart it all gets put into a perspective of nonsense.

Yep, Sue last night from the War on Christmas to the chat with Dennis Leary was a excellent show. I probably should have posted the entire show.

Ya gotta love Jon, he knows New York City! "Stewart added that New York City is a "godless, secular, gay, Jewy, and hellbound," but is decorated as if "Santa's balls exploded" all over the city, reports"
I always wonder why FAUX News defends COMMUNISM in the form of Christmas so much - we do it American style, buying as much as possible before we Give It Away...seems kinda Commie to me anyway...;)

Soujourner's says the war on Christmas is coming from GOP proposals to dismantle the safety net for the poor (ala Scrooge and Tiny Tim).

Yep, that was Bill O'Reilly talking and he did say that Christianity is NOT a religion but rather a philosophy.

If this war exists, it is incredibly unsuccessful: it seems Christmas is being celebrated from early October through the end of December.

Christians haul out the "War on Christmas" whine every year, along with the tree, ornaments, holly and wrapping paper!

It's TRADITIONAL! That myth goes right along with the ones about three wise men, magical stars and sheep. :-)
