Humor, as Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have proven, is a compelling way to gain people's attention to issues that are important!
Matt Damon is so comfortable in his skin, that after doing "Promised Land" about the exploitation of oil and gas corporations swindling small property owners to lease their property for fracking and now with Michael Douglas they star in an HBO movie "Behind the Candelabra" - about Liberace (Douglas) and his lover (Damon) - it is a poignant and extremely relevant film about the "closeted" life of Liberace, HIV+, and eludes to gay marriage - all done with such amazing commitment from both actors - it would be easy to go "over the top" with either character, but they have made the most amazing character studies that I've ever seen - on a par with Streep and the greatest - a must see! (I'm sounding like a commercial).
Damon is an activist and uses his art and name to make a stand that people will notice - got to love him for it!

Not sure I'd stop using the toilet but I wouldn't mind sharing a toilet with him

Thank you for the amusing video. The frustrating thing iis that he and his friends could solve this problem if they sacrificed one of their many homes, or planes, or yachts, or designer clothes. They have the money that we do not have. (n, p, t )

Good thing when people like Matt bring attention to the terrible things in this world because so many people do not watch the news or read.....but they do pay attention to an actor that they have seen in the movies. And then they (most) begin to think and become more aware of the situation outside of North America......hopefully.

Matt got the whole package - attitude empathy, intelligence, and passion to act. I have joined his Water Campaign. I remember that Matt stood for teachers, too.

His ex mate is a huge disappointment, though. That Iran-hostage Oscar-wining propaganda sh** is a disgrace for somebody who had actually studied Mid-East history. Not to mention that many actors of Tehran Embassy Hostage crisis gave interviews, wrote memoirs and are still here to speak about it.
