PHOENIX (The Borowitz Report)—Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed a controversial anti-gay bill last night, telling reporters, “Let’s focus on discriminating against Mexicans.”
Governor Brewer said that while “the intentions behind this bill were obviously excellent,” she was worried that the bill “would distract us from our main mission of harassing, tormenting, and otherwise making life miserable for Mexicans.”
Although Governor Brewer said that she could foresee a time when Arizona might “branch out into discriminating against gays,” the decision to veto the anti-gay bill in the name of anti-immigrant pride was not difficult: “Arizona needs to stick to what it does best.”

I want to see his source for these quotes! Where did he get this information? I can't find it. All I find are references to Andy Borowitiz's article. Extremely inflammatory article. Sure it is satire but he's satiring a communication that does not exist. Help me out here. Thank you.

Noted. oooooh...The truth encapsulated in satire....always hurts. I believe many of us in Arizona have been blindsided by the hate-mongering going on in our legislature. I don't know how many are aware that we actually had a Gov. Raul Castro back in the 70's....right before that hateful Gov. Meacham took office, beginning a long line of divisiveness. Funny, how Castro left office mid-term when he was appointed to be an ambassador. And, Gov. Napolitano was very good for our state....until she was crowned to take over Homeland Security. That's how we ended up with Brewer....by default. Gerrymandering didn't help. But, so many of us who grew up here in a "happier" AZ would like to have it back. I think we have a chance...many people are working very hard prior to the next election to ensure big changes. In fact, I really hope that Big Media continues to trash Arizona, and wake up the rest of the population here.
