THE U.S. Supreme Court has upheld a part of the USA PATRIOT Act that criminalizes free speech as "terrorism"--and the Obama administration, which was expected to stop its predecessor's assault on the Constitution, is celebrating the decision as a victory

A graphic on my Care2 page reads,
"Crimes under Bush are crimes under Obama,
and must be protested by anyone who claims
a shred of conscience."

We now have yet another crime, committed by the
Supreme Court, in a case which was argued by
Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court,
U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan.
Our rights as American citizens, under the Consitittion,
are vanishing, including now perhaps our most precious
right. the freedom of speech.

Many thanks to all who will note, comment-on, and
forward this story. God's blessings will be with you all.

Certainly the "giving of "expert advice or assistance" to a terrorist group should be a criminal act (with the obvious exception of legal counsel provided by a licensed attorney - since any criminal is entitled to such, or a medical practitioner giving medical advice.) I personally don't see how a journalist interviewing a terrorist or a researcher gathering material by talking to a terrorist would involve the 'giving' of any kind of advice - since, in those cases, the person would be receiving information, not giving it, and would in no way be assisting the terrorist.

Another example of doing wrong in order to try to do right. These people seem to forget the very principles upon which this country was founded. And the reason? Because a despicable act of terrorism has made us too afraid to stand up for what we are supposed to believe in--FREEDOM.

What do you make of this :
Here is a message from Wayne Allyn Root,
a graduating classmate of Mr Obama from Columbia University, class of 83

Remember to clean House (and Senate) this November to stop this!!

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT

Barach Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Obama is my college classmate ( Columbia University , class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University . They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America . But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America . The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan.

Pastor Tim,

Thank you for posting this. And please ignore the morons who want to silence you as well.

"The Patriot Act's material-support provision is so vague that humanitarian groups and journalists and their sources can be ensnared." This sums it up.

But this reminded me of a Post on my blog - 3 yrs ago. It's sad that nothing has changed!

I called it Miss America

Tony Kushner is known for his play Angels in America. One of his lesser known earlier plays is called, "A Bright Room Called Day". Set in Germany during the early years of Hitler, It documents how a small artist community fails to see the writing on the wall regarding the change in their government until it's too late. But just as in Germany and Italy before WWII and just as in the USA right this moment, the problem isn't the guy at the top. The problem is we the people are no longer in charge of our government and mega corporations are. We, the people voted to put President Obama in office and now Corporations and so called conservatives are determined to make it look like he's the problem when in fact, unregulated private industry is the problem, and now with the help of the Supreme Court, they try to remove any chance we have of having our government of the people, by the people and for the people. Government is supposed to keep big business from becoming little kingdoms who answer to nobody.

Please don't mistake me for a "preacher".
Though I have been an ordained minister for more than 10 months now,
I have yet to stand in a pulpit and deliver a sermon.
I do not host a church.
I don't even attend church.
I'm not your average Pastor.
I am disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and my prime devotion and dedication in life is to Him.
and to spread his message of Love, Peace, Compassion,
and most all, Forgiveness of sin.
I can't "stay out of politics", especially when I run across a story like this.
On my profile page, I identify myself as a "town crier", and when I get information
such as what's in this story, I feel compelled to broadcast it.
I refuse to be labeled or pigeon-holed because I carry the title "Pastor" before
my name. I won't be defined by people in the world.
I will only be defined by my Lord, my Savior and my King,
Jesus Christ, and I will be exactly what He wants my to be.
The things I do at Care2 are a part of that.

Peace, love, grace and mercy be with you all.

With that said, my pastor who does stand in a puplit every week and does deliver a sermon every week to those of us faithful followers, has told me that "politics and making wise choices by people like us is a must". He would indeed love your post as an act of awareness. Ty, for this post!

The way I see it...no terrorist deserves to have any rights of freedom of any sort. The very definition of terrorism eradicates the importance of freedom and is a method of coercion.

...and I must say, it does rub my sensibilities the wrong way to see you using your title as Pastor. If you truly intend to keep the church and politics from being combined, perhaps you should drop the title and just call yourself Tim when commenting on politics. We don't know if you're commenting as the pastor or the man.

My concern is that the sheep will follow a pastor off a cliff ....and the loyalties you collect will not be earned on the merit of your comments, but by the title or your chosen profession.
Besides that ....if you don't even go to church, then perhaps using the title as your identification is a bit misleading....and not something you should wear as a badge of sorts, just to make people look up to you. Not fair....keep it separate and keep it honest and sincere.
Sorry but I'm not your average church-follower and that's my honesty coming out. As a man of God or a man who is defending freedom of speech, you must respect that...with grace.

Thanks Pastor Tim-The reason not too much has changed from Obama to Bush except a better speaker and more rhetoric is because Obama was selected by groups likes the trilaeral commission, and the council on foriegn affairs to be the face of their policies. Do we really believe that Bush or Obama are formulating these policies?

Secondly, who decides who is on this terrorist list? America blatantly invaded Iraq based on false pretenses. Israel just attacked a ship in international waters and assassinated nine innocent people. This terrorist list is highly politically biased.

This is a hard right move by the ruling elite to restrict the pyramiders of movement because there are plans to impose draconian economic policies against the middle class and working poor. You can see it coming with plans to cut the deficit, balance the budget, and deal with entitlements.

As far as Obama leading us to socialism, giving money to Acorn, making Puerto Rico a state, and vast privileged class of public sector workers; I personnaly don't see any of these events as significant. I do see the treasury and the federal reserve openning up to the financial sector and leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves.

@ Marilyn,

"no terrorist deserves to have any rights of freedom of any sort."

The problem with that statement is the wrongly accused. Under a similar scenario, a Kuwaiti man spent 4 years in Guantanamo just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Likewise, Aljazeera reporter who interviewed Bin Laden was accused of ties to Al Qaeda, arrested and imprisoned in Guantanamo for a long period of time. Both were later exonerated and freed!

If a wrongly-accused person is accused of terrorism, then s/he would rot in jail... and the truth will be buried!

I care about hunger, the impoverished and the homeless. Pastor Audrey. I do not object to you speaking what you believe but I do object tp calling yourself Pastor when you do not go to Church, are not affiliated with any Church, so exactly what Church were you ordained in to. I am a firm believer in separation of Church and State. Yes I believe but once we get Religion involved in Politics we have a problem, like whose Religion is it going to be. I guess any one can say they are a self ordained Pastor. How do I know. One could probably send off for a a diploma saying you are now ordained, No I am not a Pastor, but you see I can say I am and who would know any different, I smell a rat.

Wake up America
You;re only looking at this one sided. This is stated about terrorists,,,, but who decides who a terrorist is?
What is happening here is slipping this under the back door disguised as s bill to protect you from Al Qaeda Bombers, but in truth this could later be used against you. Animal activists can be declared terrorists and they even slipped in the AETA bill under the back door and nobody cared (except Dennis Kucinich). I bet Dennis sees how this can be dangerous in the wrong hands. I like how ole Roberts pushed it through,,, wake up tea baggers, you are next to be declared home grown terrorists. Just my opinion.

The First Amendment states: "CONGRESS shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Unfortunately, the framers of the Constitution left a loophole. The Supreme Court trampled free speech on June 23, 2010, not Congress.

I have not had freedom of speech and press in years, since the secret arrest and murder of my mentally and physically disabled brother was followed by an elaborate cover-up facilitated by The (Johnnie) Cochran Firm fraud. See http://WrongfulDeathOfLarryNeal.com - My online communication is constantly attacked, and I am stalked in person for asking how/why my brother was killed in secret government custody in 2003. My family is denied explanation or records regarding Larry Neal's demise. Because I write articles in favor of the government actually being what it claims to be on paper, terrorist attacks on my civil rights and against our family are allowed.

Many Christians and people in other religions see it as their duty to speak against wars and all human rights abuses. Jesus Christ was himself a conscientious objector, a/k/a the Prince of Peace. He requires that His church be His body in the earth. For instance, Every Church a Peace Church is an anti-war movement by Christians of different denominations. Visit www.ecapc.org - By passing this law, the Supreme Court has also abridged the free practice of religion. Many people attend anti-war protests, exercising their right to peaceful assembly. It would appear that such anti-war protests are also outlawed. Thus, in one stroke, the Supreme Court has attacked free speech, free press, religious freedom, and the right to peaceful assembly. This seems unfitting for guardians of the Constitution. In keeping with the First Amendment, it was not Congress that did this, but the High Court. Trust lawyers to find a loophole. I wonder what part of the Constitution will go next.

So, if I see someone in the street who is in really bad health and take them to a doctor, or just get them a drink of water and something to eat and they turn out to be a terrorist on the run and some U.S. agents can come along and grab me and lock me up for as long as they like? That's about what this amounts too. Read your history, we're back in the Middle Ages. Oh, by the way, I don't live in the U.S. but that doesn't make any difference. By the commonly accepted definitions of terrorism I must be very careful not to help any Americans in future. You are members of a terrorist organization that kills and kidnaps and creates fear worldwide.
Hah! Don't worry, all my good friends here. I won't take my ideas to absurd lengths as too many commenters here have. You have my prayers Tim and Jill and I don't expect to be arrested for them too soon.

Thank you Pastor Tim,

I can sit here in Scotland and commit a Fedoral Offence in the USA

YESSSSSSSS I love it.

I think the Supreme Court has it wrong. They are defining too narrowly the word 'Terrorist'...surely anyone who enters another's country with the sole purpose of murdering the citizens of that country must be termed as Terrorists...that makes the USA the biggest Terrorists of them all...they walked in Iraq and proceeded to murder and humiliate the Iraqis...and left the country in a worse state than they found it...murder is now the norn in that country...
...before that they walked into Afghanistan and did the same thing...only they are still there...still murdering the local population...
...and they were aided and abetted by various poodles like bLIAR's UK...
...and the USA sends arms to Israel which them proceeds to murder the Palestinians...

How am I doing here Tim...how many offences have I clocked up to those idiots in the Supreme Court that seem unable to define Terrorist as the rest of the world understands the term...could someone please tell them that 99.9% of Muslims are peace and law abiding people who hate any form of violence...so stop waging ridiculous wars against them.

So Supreme Court...going to seek my extradition? or will you just come for me in the night and send me to one of your secret concentration camps by special rendition...and use torture techniques that even your President says are wrong...but hasn't stopped...ooops there I go again...more offenses...and if you think that is bad you should hear my outspoken comment about the idiots in Whitehall in the UK, first we had the bLIAR, then Dithering Gordy and now we have Batman and Robin...I think Homer Simpson would have better ideas.

The fact that Trolls are commenting here in an attempt to discredit Pastor Tim is proof positive that he is a good Pastor worthy of his calling. A true man of God is CALLED by GOD and is ordained by Him, not by man. As to Pastor Tim getting involved in state affairs, any good man who values freedom and Country does so, regardless if they are a Pastor or not. Pastors also have a duty to their flock to inform them of dangers which Pastor Tim does quite well. I recently had the displeasure of viewing a video of President Barack Obamas Pastor preaching to his flock in which he shouts, 3 times, God Damn America!, God Damn America!, God Damn America!. I think I would definitely prefer to be in Pastor Tims flock since he truly loves America.

Marilyn, in all due respect, you are too hung up on the title of Pastor. We are not followers on this site. If Pastor Tim is looking for a congregation to lead by the nose, care2 is absolutely the wrong place. If the topic he present wasn't relevant, know one would hardly respond.

Pastor Tim's reputation preceeds him. If he wasn't a person filled with integrity, he wouldn't be able to galvanize individuals, and get the respectful defense of indivduals that he is getting in response to your attempt to question his use of the word Pastor.

I personally love the word pasture, especially at a time when we as a nation and world are so misled by our so called leaders. Pastor Tim is a leader, He wants to lead, and he has a message that is relevant. Few men stand up and really represent the spirit of christ in word and deed. Pastor Tim is one of them.

You don't question the titles given to the Supreme court, the President, or the congress. These institutions wouldn't give you the time of day. Here is a man willing to question governmental abuse of power, put himself in disfavor with rulers in this society, and you want to focus on his title.

Audrey,

So if my title is ATW, Ph.D., and people call me "Doctor" out of respect and acknowledgment to earning such title, does that mean I should affiliate myself with a hospital or a medical practice? Or should I stop using the title?

Do you even know what it takes to become a Pastor or what that really means?

Better yet, what do you Bill Clinton if you meet him? Or what does the media or anyone for that matter refer to ex-presidents when they meet them?

It's "Mr. President.." isn't it?

Do you get it or are you simply a person full of hate and anger?

TX, Pastor Tim. You may not post often; but when you do, your story makes a great impact. This story makes quite an impact, I must say. The Supreme Court Justices know very well that the "PATRIOT ACT" in its entirety is UNCONSTITUTIONAL; yet, the majority of them deliberately ignored this absolute fact in their latest "ruling". Just about every part of the Bill of Rights has been violated by this "law". If the Supreme Court isn't going to uphold the Constitution, as previous Courts had through the generations, then, this nation is NO LONGER the nation of the Founding Fathers; instead, is that of Red China, North Korea, or any other totalitarian state, past and present.

You have a good point, Hugh. What you mention here certainly has happened before throughout history. You mention the Middle Ages, when the Inquisition hunted down, imprisoned, and killed witches, warlocks and heretics. Go back to the 1st Century AD, when Nero targeted Christians following the burning of Rome. It's a shame that we've all regressed to the days before the Magna Karta, when people were arrested and locked up at the whim of a king.

I am VERY disappointed with Obama in this issue and others…
What… who is a terrorist depends on your political persuasion…
In several issues I see NO CHANGE from Bush…
I am VERY disappointed with Obama…
No change in Israeli policy… the occupation and theft continues...
No change in immigration… no policy… only politics...
No change in Wall Street… Geithner is one of them…
Went to fund raiser in San Francisco then went to the Gulf spill…
The Gulf spill… show some interest…

(1) Stand up for human rights
(2) Stand up for the environment
(3) Stop Israeli expansion

The Supreme Court is acting in the same way as the Peoples Court of Gestapo Germany...with laws that are erily similar...
...they both deny the freedom of speech
...they both put 'State Interest' above that of the individual
...they both wish to lock up those that don't agree with their myopic view of the world
...they both seek to kidnap people from different countries
...they both employ methods of torture to extract false confessions
...they both run concentratuion camps for 'correction of political ideas'

The difference between the Supreme court and the Third Reich is...errrr give me time on that one.

And Audrey you are either plain pathetic or very funny...senior you say? The word senile springs to mind...get a profile dear, get a photo, come out the closet, get a life and grow up and start acting your age not your shoe size...now that's a wee bitty of the Scot's wisdom for yer

Friday June 25, 2010, 6:39 am
I need to thank the people who have remained on topic, and
I need to thank those of you who have risen in my defense.

To those of you who have attacked my status and ordination
as a Pastor, I have a few things to say.
Your attacks on me have not been as bad as one which came last week
in a private message from a Care2 member who describes herself as a
"very-conservative Fox-news watching Christian". She referred to me
as a "bloviating charlatan" who has been ordained by the "ridiculous"
Universal Life Church. Coming from an individual like this, I consider her
comment toward me to be a compliment of the highest order.
This woman, and those of you in this thread, obviously don't know that
(ironically) the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that those of us ordained by the ULC
have the same rights as ordained ministers as those who are ordained by major
denominations, colleges and universities.

I really have NOT been ordained by the ULC.
I have been ordained to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
by my Father God, Who called me to do this last year.
He was the One Who put the inspiration in me, and He was
the One Who keeps me going at this. The ULC were the people who
legalised me in the eyes of the world.
I think some of the comments may have been flagged as "off-topic"
and removed by C2 Support, but some people have challenged me
as a Pastor because I do not attend church or host a church or preach.
These people have a funny idea of what "church" is.
Let me say this:
Nowhere in the New Testament are believers in Jesus Christ commanded
to attend church as people do today (Sunday morn., Sunday nite, Wedn. nite)
and in fact, it could be argued that believers are warned against it.
In the New Testament, the "church" is described as being the believers themselves,
generally referred to as "the body of Christ".
People in this thread have decided I'm a fraud because I don't fit into their
tiny, narrow definition of a "Pastor". They think I'm a fraud because I haven't
got a church, I don't preach, I'm ordained by ULC; therefore, they've written me off as a fraud.
I don't care.
Jesus Christ once said, "Don't be concerned if they hate you, because they hated Me first."
My ordination comes from God, and He tells me what He wants me to do for Him, and to me,
that's all that counts. Posting stories in the news such as this one is part of that.
My main motivation in life is to emulate my Lord, my Savior and my King, Jesus Christ,
He who was, and is, and is to come. Posting stoies like this one is the Christ-like thing to do,
to warn my fellow countrymen and woman of what our government is doing to us.
I don't care that some people take offense to that.
In fact, the objections to me that I've seen in this thread tell me I'm doing a rather successful
job at being a Pastor, because if I weren't recieving so much opposition, it would make me
wonder about what kind of job I was doing. All that counts to me is knowing how many people
I have helped, and touched, and had an impact on, and that's quite a few people.

In closing, a comment for Marillyn D., who said yesterday that "terrorists" should not
be afforded any rights whatsoever in this country.
Marilyn, I hope with all my heart you're still tracking this story.
I want you to remember please, that the rights given to terrorists in this country
are there for everyone, your own-self included.
Believe me, dear-heart, if the situation should ever arise in which you are falsely
accused of being a terrorist, you're gonne be mighty-awful glad those rights are
there for you. Those rights are part of what makes America what it is, and keep us from
being the Soviet Union or East Germany. Believe me,, Marilyn, you actually WANT those terrorists to
have those rights.....you really, really do.

Lets not let Marilyn, with her attack on Pastor Tim get us off topic of this very important issue we are persented with because of the supreme courts anti-constitutional ruling against freedom of speech.

This entire ruling should be struck down from the basis of "who is to decide who is a terrorist"? One mans terrorist is another man freedom fighter. Why should we accept the designation of Hamas, for example, a democratically elected political organization, as terrorist because some people dislike their politics.

Israel just evicted some Hamas sympothizers from Jerusalem simply because of Israel's disagreement with Hamas's politics. Those in the media want to shove down our throats the belief that Israel is the only democracy in the middle east. How democratic is the decision to evict a group because you disagree with their politics?

Bottom line to me is that WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA need to start standing up to our Government, to our Courts, to our Decision makers, and tell them NO! YOU DO NOT REPRESENT US! YOU DO NOT TRUST OR RESPECT US AS INDIVIDUALS! My question is why was this not in the News? Why was this not broadly, and loudly stated? What is happening to our Supreme Court? Thank you Pastor Tim for letting us know!

David S. (55)

The United States takes yet another important incremental step to becoming a fully and institutionally fascist nation, and once again with the full and active support and encouragement of the present administration.

However, this Supreme Court decision is not a theoretical question to me, I could tell you from direct and personal experience what it means. As Richard Stallman reported at the time, I was investigated for writing a series of articles critical of the government's prosecution of animal rights activists as terrorists and had my passport held for over a year. Finally, rather than wasting so much time having FBI agents asking the waitresses of the local diner about my "dietary habits" and whether I have "vegetarian tendencies" (I kid you not...), I am, for the record, a committed member of PETA, that is People who Eat Tasty Animals ;).

Thanks Poster Tim for the post.

It's clearly that the USA is going to make more control, and suppress human rights, i.e. what happened to Helen Tomas, haven't she had the right of speech all those years, but what happened to her right when she commented about the Zionist?

how could the USA claims that she will bring the democracy to the meddle east while she cut off the most famous reporter, simply because she disagreed with the Zionists.

those Zionists unfortunately dominate the USA's Governments movements, while Mr. Bush promised to make wars, and fights they supported him, because his promises satisfied their interests. thus he did what he promised.

but when Mr. Obama promised to make peace to close Guantanamo, .... etc, they opposed him, because his promises doesn't satisfy their interests, so Mr. Obama the ambitious, the effective, stopped don't know what to do, but to follow Mr. Bush.

I think that if we all read our bible we would know this time was to come, and is here even now. We can do our best to stop what wrongs we do see. We can do our best to spread the gospel of Jesus. We can do our best to be the people Jesus wants us to be. We each have our own ways of doing this. Rather than tearing down we should lift each other up. To me all the comments here, that attacked each other would have been better not to be said. I will continue to help my fellow man, without judgment. I will do my best to spread Jesus love. I will try to be wise, in that, "we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness. I believe our energies should be concentrated on LIFTING UP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST.

TERRANCE N. (65)

Jesus also threw out the money changers from the temple, crticized the religious leaders house of woship as "The synagogue of satan", and told the religious leaders, "if you were the seed of Abraham, you would do the work of Abraham, but you are of your father the devil. He was a murderer then, and is a murderer now".

I agree Brenda, that Jesus did a lot of healing. He wants us to forgive our brothers trepass. But as the qoute, "we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness".

when Jesus comes this time, he is coming to fight against the darkness. there will not be anytime for people to get on the right side. The separation will have already occurred. Jesus will come this time to destroy those who have persecuted his righteous people.

Brenda, try reading the words of Jesus Christ...start in Matthew 7:05, 6:02, 22:18, 23:15...and so forth...he could be very outspoken and direct in critisising those he knew were going the wrong way and making up non-sense rules and ignoring the humble walk with our God (Micah 6:8) which has been the message of all true prophets from Abraham to Mohammed (PBUH). For some the Bible is a working toolbox of inspiration and not an idol to be worshipped. If Jesus were here today he would be applauding what Pastor Tim has revealed about the role of the Supreme Court and their crude attempts to enslave the mionds of people.

But if Pastor Tim wants to do another thread about the True Teaching Of Christ,,,, I will happily challenge anybody who thinks they have a right to challenge Pastor Tim's calling.
What was it they found in Jesus handwriting,,, Oh yeah:) You won't find me in walls of gold (I'm assuming the churches) but lift a log,, turn a stone and you will find me.

Jesus didn't belong to a church, either. He spread His word to all who would listen. I doubt very much that He is pleased with the way Christian churches are run, and appalled that there are so many different denominations.

Pastor Tim is an honourable man, a decent and compassionate human being. Who cares where he got ordained? He is closer to being a true Christian and follower of Christ than most of the minister, rabbis, popes and priests that I've come across. If there really is a heaven, there will be damn few religious leaders get in.

Not happy at all with Obama. i just voted for him to keep Palin out of office! They all lie politicians are all mostly liars and money hungry. You cannot ever trust any politician. It's only illegal if you say it out loud. If you walk around the house mumbling to yourself, I think it's legal. And if you put it on YouTube I'm pretty sure you can get away with it. So long as you are not holding office somewhere. I'm pretty sure pumpkin head John Boehner got away with it when he called the financial crash an "ant". He should not get away with it but insanity is a pandemic right now. But he was elected again by some really nutty citizens. So was John McCain in his unsupport of the troups.

It's part of the First Amendment. Now, if you are a general and trying to boost morale of the troups, give them a real reason to be in Afghanistan in 120º heat in uniform with a bullet proof vest making breathing almost impossible, then, it isn't wise to sound off publicly. It isn't even smart or kind.

If you really think it's illegal anymore to sound off, then turn on the news. The crazy lady from Nevada wants to use a " second amendment remedy" on Harry Reid. Last I looked, it was illegal to shoot someone unless you are a soldier in a war.
