Global warming denial has its benefits.

As ThinkProgress previously noted, the Heartland Institute will host what it calls a “Climate Skeptics’ Conference” next month. Elected officials have been offered lodging and pay for up to 2 nights of accommodation in New York to attend the gathering. Thanks, Jorg. It is about time people learned there is not a consensus concerning man’s roll is global warming. Virtually all of Al Gore’s claims have been proven to be out right lies, exaggerations, or disinformation. The natural rise in CO2 levels is not the cause of global warming it is the result of global warming. CO2 absorbs only a certain frequency of radiant heat and it has already reach the point of where there is no more of that frequency available to be absorbed regardless of how much more CO2 is in the atmosphere meaning each molecule of CO2 is now retaining less radiant heat because there is more CO2 but there is no more radiant heat in that frequency. The melting ice of Antarctica is only in the western portion of the continent, the rest of the Antarctica ice pack has actually increased by 8% above what has been lost in the west where an active under sea volcano is causing the melting. The Artic ice cap has recovered nearly 100% of what it lost in the alarming melt of 2007. The Greenland ice cap was much smaller when the Vikings named it Green Land and the temperatures were much warmer than they are today. The rate of sea level rise has not changed since the end of the last ice age. The polar bear population is 5 to 6 times greater than it was in the 1950’s and 60’s and is continuing to increase. A direct correlation between solar activity and Earth climate has been made by comparing solar activity and earth temperature as far back as records exist. The record temperatures in 1998 were the result of the most active solar cycle on record. Virtually all of the solar activity this winter has been from corona holes which are far less energetic than solar flares. That in combination with the La Nina has caused one of the coldest winters in decades which includes record setting cold in the southern hemisphere in 2007 where it snowed in areas that had not seen snow in more than 50 years. No one living in Baghdad has ever seen it snow there yet it snowed there this winter for the first time in a generation. Accurate weather forecast can not be made for more than three days in advance. At 7 to 10 days the accuracy begins to deteriorate and beyond that it is really just a crap shoot. It takes 3 to 5 days for solar activity to cover the 93 million miles between Earth and the Sun. Climate models are only as good as the data they are programmed to consider. All of the current climate models can not even accurately predict weather patterns that have already occurred let alone predict future weather patterns. The debate is not over, but it is a lot closer to proving Al Gore to be the loser.

The big difference, Judy is governments will recover their cost for providing the free trips for their mouthpieces through the carbon tax they are planning to hit us with.
