Pastor is convinced that the next US president "will probably discard" plans for the North American Union. Amazingly, he says the right killed it because of fears of immigrants and the left because of potential unemployment.

This a**hole doesn't get it - NO American of ANY political stripe wants to lose our sovereignty to a tripartite government. Regardless of Pastor's denials, that is EXACTLY what the North American Union would become.

So sad that is why they say some one should serve more than one term because they just learn their way around and they are out! I really do not see a big change any time soon! Union hits a bad spot with me after Wal-mart Are they anti-American I think so! Oh, well enough,Great Story,Cate!

The American Dream has long been the American Nightmare. Someone just forgot to tell everyone.

I have belonged to 3 different unions in my lifetime, and not one of them were worth a damn. If you were not part of the 'E-board' cliche, you were a nobody. All that money goes for their party time fun. I now work a non union shop and it's worth not having union.

Large corporation sucks. They have too much 'power', especially where politics is concerned. They also are the one's that are ruining our country. Too much outsourcing is now showing it's ugly face by the many foreclosures, at least could be part of it.

It's good news that the plan for a SPP is now dead. I opposed it from the moment I found out about it, which was 3 weeks after the initial alleged secret meeting in Waco, TX. I even have it posted on Care2. I didn't read about it in a CFR report I read directly from the official Canadian Web Site to verify the story, And lo and behold Paul Martin had written about the SPP. Now maybe the NAFTA superhighway will go dead as the SPP did?

I hope it dies a quick but brutal death! The super-highway has been put on hold as far as in Texas. On hold but not completely dead. They ran into too many headaches (yeah, all us small time land owners can be that way) with having to either pay them the true value of their land or try to push the Eminent Domain thang which Texas legislature put a screeching halt to over a year ago. So, the Trans-Texas Corridor is a no-go right now. What happens to it or the SPP/NAU is anyone's guess at this point. We will see in a year or so. Like I said--I hope it dies a quick but brutal death never to be resurrected again.

I would love to think this is true, but, further on in the article, the guy keeps on wanting to:
"In his CFR article, Pastor also called for the continuation of annual North American heads-of-state summits and the appointment in the next administration of a national adviser for North American affairs, who would chair a cabinet-level committee to formulate a comprehensive plan for North America.

Pastor also encouraged creating a dozen university centers for North American studies "to educate a new generation of students to think North American." And "The North American Model Parliament is sponsored by the North American Forum on Integration, on which Pastor serves as a board member."
When Pastor is still saying these things, you can bet that the concept of a united North America is NOT off the table. They're switching language. Oh, they'll lay low for a while, and when everyone is relaxed, they'll start in again -- under another name -- doing the same crap. They want one world with the top 1 percent of the elite controlling everything and everyone. Plus, they're psychopaths/sociopaths who have no moral compass, and only understand money/power. This type doesn't stop-- on their own -- they have to be forced continually until they finally realize that "This tactic isn't going to work." Constant vigilance is still necessary. I think it's going to take constant upheavals like Georgia, Chechnya, and every other county in the world rebelling against the one-world-order freaks until they realize that their dream of total world domination "just isn't a viable proposition. The people cannot be made to cooperate, even under threat of death."
