The U.S. government placed the beluga whales in Alaska's Cook Inlet under the protection of the Endangered Species Act on Friday, concluding that a decade-long recovery program has failed to assure their survival.

Good news for the whales. Palin is an incredibly shallow, self serving animal killer who should be kept out of all offices of power, not just the White House but Alaska also. I dread to think how much more damage she is capable of doing in that beautiful pristine state.
