Noted. Happy for these these dogs but i do wonder just how many will actually be adoptable. These idiots outta be chained and forced to fight as these poor dogs, see how they like it. Not....

It's incredibly difficult to rehabilitate a dog that has only known fighting. What is to become of these dogs does not sound promising. I should only hope these are 26 counts of animal cruelty against these people.

It may be difficult to rehab fighting dogs but with God, ALL Things Are Possible! Thanks Susan for posting!

I admire all of the people who work hard to rescue these poor dogs from such cruelty. We all owe these men & women a big "Thank You" because without their efforts so many animals would be left to suffer. Now is the time for harsher punishments for these "people" who abuse animals. No charges were listed in the papers; yes it is disgusting that not even the neighbors were willing to turn these awful people over to the authorities!! People who create dog fighting rings deserve quite a bit more then a small fine-a hefty prison sentence still doesn't seem enough when you stop to consider what kind of life these dogs will actually live!!! Sometimes I think maybe going Old Testament (an eye-for-an-eye) in our thinking is the only way to stop such deplorable treatment of animals!
Yes, there is a bright side: 26 dogs were rescued and none were so injured that euthanasia was not necessary, thank the Lord!

Thank the good Lord these babies were saved. I hope the morons that are behind this abuse are thrown in prison where they will ultimately have to fight to survive.

One of my family rescues bull dogs. The work is hard and there are death threats too.

Its a shame this breed of dog have been given a bad name; it isn't their fault but for years humans have train them to fight - its time to stop it and the LAW must become stronger.

I STILL say the bastards involved in dog fighting (both owners and spectators) should be staked down in a pit and let the dogs have at 'em. Are you listening Vick? Not everybody has fallen for your bs propaganda.
