It is so great to hear how important wildlife conservation is to Mangosuthu Buthelezi. It seems like he is being a voice for wildlife, and will make sure the poachers are punished.

I allways respected this man. Only recently I realised that he is a Zulu and then I also know of the Zulu tradition to kill a bull with their bare hands. I hope that he was not one of them. This tradition starts every February. It is a horrible death and very barbaric of these people. There have been many petitions to stop it .....but so far, all in vain.

Reading Julie's comment, I wish that such "cultural inheritance" does not include that bloody festival.

The horrific bull killing ritual of Ukweshwama, remember last year Animal Rights Africa, and Animal Rights India asked Zuma to intervene...and tried to get a court to stop it, but it went ahead.

Noena's story is unbelieveable. I had read it before but I am amazed by it. She survived again. I don't know what we can all do to stop this insanity. I am praying that conservation and wild life protection comes to the forefront in elections all over the world. Of course politicans lie, we can hope and pray.

In my opinion he has always be a very wise man. Now if he can just help us to put an end to ritual slaughterings...
