That's great news. Now I wonder if there is a way they can be prevented from growing ivory tusks....

How wonderful - but as Nimue says awful that the three in China have to suffer. Thanks so much Jill - and many congratulations to those who worked so hard and long to save these babies - and hopefully stop others being kidnapped and sold off!

Now protect them against poachers. Every country should contribute to the anti-poaching strategy.

If that picture doesn't bring a sense of exhilaration to your psyche, one must wonder if your are alive.and breathing.
We won't go into the psychology of those, who do not.

These enormous creatures must be protected. They have immense memories and compassion for each other.
It is clear to me, that they have a great deal to teach us, if we only, pay close attention. At my advancing age, I intend to do, just that.

Good news, however why were they not left to begin with, with their mothers in the wild! The greed of mankind is despicable! Thanks Jill.

Great news for those five but if they did not have to go to China why not leave them where they were with their families I do not understand why they have to split them up If its for poaching then surely all the money it costs to do these enterprises could go into more cameras etc against poachers

Better in the Park than in China.

Now, how about those other baby elephants...
Is there a petition for them to comeback home...?
