Not unexpectedly, the South African government announced last week their intention to submit an application to CITES in 2016 for permission to trade their rhino horn stockpiles.

I was as unhappy with many of the comments left on the africageograhic site as I am with the government's request.
And CITES even allowing it as an alternative.

And you're done with me for the day Jilli -
I owe you some stars for both the articles and putting up with cranky me ♥

Noted, tweeted, shared, tweeted, shared. It's not about life; it's about money and greed and a great deal of ignorance.

I couldn't find the petition to sign like others did, but NO to C.I.T.ES. lifting the ban. The horns need to be destroyed so they can't be stolen or the government tries to make a profit off of them again.

The south africa deserves the boycott of all their goods, even from the point of view of tourism. Petition signed, thanks Nancy!
