Serves them right - there always seems to be an insider!!! I think intense education that Rhino horn or tiger parts or any other animal parts don't work has to be the key to stopping it!!!!

This is how much the animals are worth for sale in auction houses and online. Worth billions of dollars. Its an underground plague and denied, but the animals are being slaughtered and the earth is getting wrecked and poachers are getting laws written to protect them in countries like the USA and Canada. Then places like SA trying to stop them are getting murdered. I get so annoyed seeing this kind of posting knowing we are involved in this greed. Humans need to get a damn grip. Camera's not guns for shooting.

Noted. An insider who worked at the Sanctuary was leading the mission. When will these Asian countries understand the Rhino Horn will do nothing for their health. The poachers have to be stopped by whatever method, if these Rhinos and Elephants are going to be saved from extinction. Under different circumstances I would be against killing, but these poachers know what they are doing is wrong and are doing it simply for money.
Thanks Jill for this article.

I have read your other article about the poachers being shot - most of these cases are an inside job! Thanks Jill!

I would hope this would deter other poachers, but I don't have a lot of faith in that. I hope they catch the one that got away and throw him in jail.

I found an article on Huffington Post app on my phone that showed that a rhino horn is worth more than gold-how to you stop the killing when you have that statistic. The poachers must be stopped!!!
