What's wrong with the judicial system" Was the judge sleeping or is Fink a friend of his? Fink should have been incarcerated for the death of this baby! He was responsible - SHOULD have been - but was too engrossed with his own obsession! Throughout the rest of his life God will punish him for the wrong he did and all the suffering he caused!

The guy, Fink, should have gotten 10 years at minimum for his role in the death of this 5 week old little girl. No justice was done here at all with a slap on the wrist and two years probation.

Look how small and innocennt, never hurt no one or anything. To only get probation is like slapping this child in the face again and her family. Dirty layers or even judges, for oh yes!!! I would love to slap them in the face and snap them into reality. This is heart breaking, he goes on his merry way when this little life is gone. What goes around come's around. Sadly noted Mary

this is totally wrong...unjust..we just had a similiar situation here but the mother & boyfriend were both convicted...so sorry that it didn't happen here...noted

I only imagine in a situation if a mother, or woman, had been doing laundry or attending another responsibility..in proximity of an infant in her care...and not smoking pot and playing video games...even without a fatality...she would be in jail now. I agree with Kay..that the MEs report was so easily disregarded...I am so sorry. Sadly, nothing can change what has happened. I hope and pray that the ex is consumed with guilt and finds some purpose that will help others in an attempt to redeem himself. Much love and wishes of comfort to you and your family.

I hope the judge can live with his decision. To think that this Fink guy can still walk the street is scary. My heart goes out to you and your family Mary. My heart aches for you...:(
We are inundated with petitions to save this animal or that animal ... and yet the only animal that seems to go by the wayside is the human animal. This was a human life and we just say how despicable the act was.

I can not count the times I've read stories of babies & toddlers being literally murdered by a man who is not the childs father.
Everytime I go to write a comment I feel like a broken record. Again & again why is it these young girls get pregnant then are left holding the bag/baby, and then they hook up with seemingly anyone to be a pretend husband, pretend father, a pretend man of sorts ......And seemingly these babies are murdered by these so called men who are not the baby's biological father.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are these young girls/womenchilds so naive that they have never heard or read of as many stories on this very same scenario......OVER & OVER & OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why can't these girls/young women hold onto their virginity long enough to allow themselves to grow up.......I sense they know less of themselves as much as what they know of these often times immature men.
It would be so much easier to take the pill, say no than go through life with memories of an innocent child murdered.
Does it take the killing of a baby to get the message so loud and clear????!!!!!!!
