Protect Your Constitutional Rights

An Important Notice Regarding Bill C-51

On April 8, 2008, the Minister of Health in Canada introduced Bill C-51 into
the House of Commons. This Bill proposes significant changes to the current
Food and Drugs Act that would remove critical checks and balances from
Health
Canada and endanger your Constitutional rights to "life, liberty, and
security
of person" (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Section 7).

Without immediate action from concerned citizens like you, this Bill will
soon
be law in Canada.

Consider How Bill C-51 Would Affect You

Many natural health products that have been sold in Canada for decades would
become unavailable, and remaining products would cost much more (Sections 13
&
18.7);
The government could designate any natural health product a prescription
drug,
making it available by prescription only (Section 15.1(4));
You could be fined thousands of dollars or go to jail for giving your child
or
friend a natural health product (Sections 31 & 3(3) ? expanded definition
of "sell");
Researchers would lose academic freedom: they could not study the beneficial
effects of natural health products without first getting the government's
permission (Sections 3(6) & 18.2);
International laws that restrict access to natural health products could be
made law in Canada without the approval of elected officials or any debate
in
the House of Commons (Sections 3(6) & 30(7));
To enforce this new law, inspectors could enter private property and
(Section
23):
take anything at their discretion;
never pay the owner for it;
charge the owner of the property a fee for shipping it to a secure storage
unit;
charge the owner of the property fees for keeping it in storage;
keep it in storage as long as they want; and/or
dispose of it at will.
Health Canada Needs Checks and Balances

Acting under current laws, Health Canada has already endangered Canadians'
lives by seizing their natural health products. In 2003, Health Canada
seized
personal shipments of EMPowerplus, a vitamin-mineral supplement that
hundreds
of Canadians with bipolar disorder and other serious mood disorders depended
on
for mental wellness, and ordered Truehope Nutritional Support Ltd. to stop
selling the supplement in Canada. Fearing for the safety of Canadians who
were
using EMPowerplus, Truehope disobeyed Health Canada's orders and was charged
with selling an illegal drug.

Fortunately, in this case, Health Canada was unsuccessful in removing
EMPowerplus from the market. In 2006, Truehope was found not guilty. The
court
ruled that Truehope was "overwhelmingly compelled to disobey?in order to
protect the health, safety and well-being of the users of the supplement",
and
Health Canada dropped its appeal of this case in October 2006. (Learn more

However, Bill C-51 would make it easier for Health Canada to seize natural
health products like EMPowerplus in the future and remove them from the
market,
violating your Constitutional rights to "life, liberty, and security of
person."

let us hope that this goes around the world. I do not like insectisides or fertilizers. I know that the almanac had a lot of natural ijngredients for both. Like compost heaps, other things that are natural. I remember in the 60's we use to be all natural. Now, most people do not care. I visit Toronto every chance I get. I think on corner they recycle trash collection. They are long Blue containser, with 3 holes, one glass, one paper goods and such, and one plastic.. Here in the US some states buy back bottles and cans. This takes cares of two problems, one thoughtful people take thiers to recycle place and get 5or 10 cents a can the other problem it keeps people from littering and those that still do someone come along and pick it up, mostly the homeless or working poor they take to the recycle places and get the money

The following is a true story.

Some years ago a young man was hired to do some kind of work in a woman's home. He naturally had to go in and out of the house in the time he spent there doing whatever. The young man did not know this woman prior to being hired to do the work she requested.

After he finished the work and left some hours later the woman was found murdered. And the young man was accused of it. He spent a number of years in prison until his lawyer discovered the lawn had been recently sprayed with toxic chemicals.

The lawyer proved beyond a shadow of doubt the chemicals had a sever reaction in the young mans system and caused him to lose it and murdered the woman. Pror to this he had no crimal record at all!!!

Sooooo......The point is made against these chemicals and what they do to people, animals, the air, the land and the water ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discipline ReformNearly a third of all public school students won't leave school with a

diploma, and half of all teachers won't leave school with a pension because they leave within the first

five years. How does teaching and learning occur when everyone is leaving?

- they are learning, to not use their brain, very simple.
..calculators- yes,... GPS- yes, compass- no,... thinking, definitely..no

Scott....I have a theory on all this......If it's fun & illegal kids & young adult will learn it!!

Case example: The Chambers brother did alot of thieving, robberies and many other illegal doings. There were many involved in their crime sprees and the brothers ran it like a business, like Wall St. Those who were in positions of authority have said had the brothers done it legally getting the monies they would be free & wealthy!!!!!!!!!

So.......Here in lies the why & wherfores of it all games, nintendos, pinball, DVD'S, cell phones, iPods and all the rest have evaporated the whole idea of working hard to get what one needs and want out of life.

And...As I see it it is gone forever. Teachers just can't compete with instant satisfaction, instant gratification with out any thinking in abstract terms involved!!!!!!

And we are trying to bring underdeveloped countries into all of this!!!!!!!! Lost cause.

I have belonged to a US group trying to ban lawn chemicals. Thank you for getting this done, Ontario!
Man has gotten so spoiled, he forgets who feeds him, shelters, cleans his air,cleans his water, etc,. He has forgotten to take care of his mother, the one who gives life to all.

Noted with thanks Scott and to all those who have helped to ban toxic chemicals from our lives. This needs to be worldwide and Ontario has stepped up to the challenge. Way to go Ontario! Now all we need is for the rest of the world to follow suite. I think we need to show people that cancer has escalated to astronomical proportions due to the vast use of toxic chemicals in our air, water and soil which eventually harms every living thing on this planet. Mother nature cannot be improved upon without serious consequences. Look around and try to find some Bees. They are almost gone. This is a critical issue that all the governments in the world should address now and not later when it might be too late!
