The article gives you a VERY good look into that.It says that people like head of Securities and Exchange Commission Chairwoman Mary L. Schapiro, with a net worth estimated at $26 million. Because many of them have huge stakes in the very Companies that failed the system and then they bailed out.

Proves a huge point.
There are regulations in place that IF politicans like Barney Frank and shapiro had ACTUALLY enforced,we would not be in the economic state that we are in right now.
Instead they chose to sell us out to the highest bidder for their own gain.

Vote out and LOCK EM OUT!

8 out of 10 of the Wealthest Politicans are Democrats and there is another graph that shos that Unions are the BIGGEST Lobbyist since the late 80's.

surprising considering that I and probably most of you here,had always thought it was Oil and Energy giants that were the Biggest.

Here is the thing I would like to know .... how much compassion would a millionaire have for the average person? Really? I took a good look at that list and a lot of it is old money so unless you have walked in the shoes of the average person - how can you actually relate? Other than thinking hand outs are the way to take care of those of us who work for what we get?

Think about that my American friends. Do you think millionaires are really the ones who should be deciding which direction your country is headed? Do they really know and really care about what the regular American needs to keep their pride and independance? Is it a reasonable thought to think that by making our own children dependant on us we do them favours?

Independance is what is needed to survive in this world. Independance is what makes one feel good about what we achieve in our lives ..... and this administration is trying to make you all dependant on the government for your lives?

many of them get money from investments like those who invest in companies that manufacture weapons or like Haliburton etc. Cheny made a fortune on Halibuton stock. Many invest in phama companies as well. There is loads of money to be made on such things. All one has to do is check their stock portfolio.
This year weapons sold like hot cake out of the US. They made it to number one. War is profitable and many members of the US government invest in such stocks. Hence war is in their best interest. The more war the more profit they make.

What is even more disturbing is it was US tax dollars that pay for them. Taxpayer fund the purchases and members of the Government profit from the sales through their stock portfolios.
