Urgent Action Alert: Defend Addameer and Raided Palestinian Grassroots and Civil Society Institutions!
At 3 a.m. on December 11, Israeli occupation forces raided the offices of Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees, and the Palestinian NGO Network
The offices were ransacked, their doors broken in, their computers and hard drives confiscated and their materials damaged, confiscated and destroyed. These Palestinian human rights defenders are on the front lines in defending the rights of Palestinian prisoners, organizing Palestinian women, and coordinating Palestinian civil society in the face of the Israeli occupation.

Samer Issawi, a former prisoner released as part of the prisoner exchange on October 18, 2011 that freed 476 other Palestinian prisoners on the same day, was arrested only eight months after his release, accused of violating his release by leaving the municipal boundaries of Jerusalem; he was arrested, and is accused of being, near the village of Hizma, inside the borders of Jerusalem municipality. He faces an additional fifteen years in prison if he is convicted in Israeli military courts (with their 99.74% conviction rate) of leaving Jerusalem while remaining within its borders. Learn more about his case.

Samer launched his hunger strike on August 1, 2012. He has now been on hunger strike for 160 days, and urgent action and international attention are needed to support his struggle!

About a quarter of Islamic terrorists released from Gitmo went back to terror and killed Americans. I don't think it is a good idea to release the same terrorists from Israeli jails, or from any other jails.

It will be grossly unjust to their victims.

This is an invitation to sign a petition to free the Palestinians who are detained by the Israeli occupation without being charged of any crimes . This is against human rights. They have to be either charged and sent to a court of law if they are guilty or to be set free as long as there is no evidence against them. People who believe and support human rights may singe these petitions. Those who don't believe in human rights and justice can just keep silent and feel ashamed. Every body has the right to chose to singe or to keep silent. You have, apparently, chosen not to singe .So please adhere to what you have chosen.Keep silent and ignore human rights.

Thx very much Abdessalam for that voting opportunity! I last voted in 2011 for Nesté Oil but did not get their action since. This time I gladly voted for G4S despite my temptation to pick either "the vampire of finance capital" or Coal India. Sorry, cannot star you again so I'm sending you these*** for your perfect comment above on the one totally off the mark.

Abdessalam,

Arab Nationalism implying that the only nation entitled to have its own states is the Arab Nation brought nothing but misery to this very Arab Nation. You cannot declare lands of other nations "occupied" just for the sake of it.

Not a single Egyptian wanted to create another Arab country while Egypt ruled Gaza and Jordan ruled West Bank. That means, that you are as much an occupier, as the Israelis you are bashing, as usual.

This petition has nothing to do with Human Rights, unless only Jihadists are Human. See Abdessalam, Arab terrorists committed too many things in too many places to reap the sympathy unconditionally, and I don't think letting these thugs out is in interest of any peace-loving person.

This petition is another unjust and unfair Islamist campaign, and I will voice my opposition to it.

A long time ago I got an advice from a wise person . He said " the best way to deal with an ignorant is to ignore him, if he continues his ignorance let him bark" He was absolutely true .

As long, as the ignorant man does not carry a bomb to blow up himself and a few passersby. Otherwise, the wise man decides to put him in jail for everyone's safety.
