Women More at Risk From Sleep Deprivation

Womens health is much more at risk from sleep deprivation than mens. Women in the study group who slept less than or equal to 5 hr a night were twice as likely to suffer from hypertension than women who slept for the more recommended 7 hr or more a night.

I don't know about the rest of you ladies, but suffer from acute sleep disorder. My DH can lay down and is snoring in five minutes. I sure do envy him. Right now I take Ambiem 10MG. Do any of you have some suggestions?

Linda, do you stretch/meditate or have a cup of sleepytime-type tea before climbing into your bed?

I hope you don't have a TV or a compute rin your bedroom.

I wouldn't take any prescription drugs; you can use herbs to help you sleep and yoga/meditation to get all your "glands" secreting all the right substances working properly.
