This is also a problem here in South Wales and Bea Keepers had great loses this year.
None of my Fruit Trees got pollinated last year and produced no Fruit. This means we are about to face a Famine in the lands for the next seven years.
With this much upheaval on the Earth with climate change we must get prepared for shortages.
Make sure the Hemp plant is back in the ground for this is your best crop for survival. Blessings to all my Angels. Amen and I thank you Father on behalf of all the children on the Earth. Janet.

I do not know the answer to the honey bees, but, I do know if we as humans do not stop being so selfish and self centered and not caring about our enviroment and world we will not have a world in a few decades. When the famines hit and poeple are crying out in fear and rage and demanding the governments provide food and save them it will be sad day when they finally realize it was thier own selfishness and greed that got us to this point.

I am planning to start a hive this year. Have been planning to do so for some time. After reading a number of articles, I believe part of the stress problem relates to the farmers pushing the bees too hard and using large cell hives, larger than wild bees use. I plan to use the small cell. Will let you know if and when I get the darn thing up and humming.

To Avoid The Mockery and Derisive Posturing From The Right Wings Chemical Warfare/Parmacutical industries Paid Deniers...

I am sure if the USA stopped wholesale aerial spaying (for mosquitoes as well as crops) the situation would improve.

So far Australian Bee farmers have been able to send fresh queens to the USA.
There is no colony colape here. But the unkind weather drought/floods may mean that bee farmers may not be able to do this forever.

It's probably caused by a whole bunch of things---pesticides, mites, pollution, maybe magnetic interference, invasive exotic species, etc.
I think I read where one out of every 7 mouthfuls of food is thanks to pollinators (or was it 7 out of 10?). That's because herbivores feed on plants and carnivores feed on herbivores and omnivores feed on both. A big chain.
What can one do? Press gov't. to study it, get results, and act.

`Sorry, it was roughly 1 out of every 3 mouthfuls we eat is thanks to pollinators.
