Maybe this is the right way to go...but I feel it's just a diversion to distract our western ADD minds from the placing the blame on OURSELVES, and doing what is necessary to correct it.

this all very interesting but I dont understand what it actually means. Are we looking at some really bad out in space storm that could affect the earth in the near furture? If so what can be done about it? And when do scientist think this will actually happen? we were told in 2000 all the power and electronics would crash and it never happened.

This posted articles' intention is to bring attention to Earth's magnetosphere, ionosphere and Van Allen belts, with emphasis upon solar interactions toward climate change (global warming) events.

Depending how fast our magnetosphere collapses and changes position in regard to its internal (Earth's core) polarity; will determine the rate of change within the ionosphere and Van Allen belts!

Scientific detection (space and land based) are the only true recorders of these transformation events.

Speculation:

As Earth's magnetic field decreases in strength, expect radical atmospheric weather related events.

1. Lightning events more powerful than anything ever seen in recorded Earth history. Make sure everything is grounded with heavy cables 6' within the ground. Electrostatic build-up within our atmosphere with unusual shock potential. Insulate and make sure you are not outside. Expect at some point lightning events that resist 'nearly-all' grounding preparations.

2. As the weather channel once broadcasted this warning: Climate models can no longer predict weather events effectively, so prepare for clear blue skies turning into tornado events within 10-20 minutes - without prior alert warnings.

3. Further shifting of Earth's regional zones: deserts becoming flood-zones and farmlands becoming deserts.

Does not sound like anything we have control of, but this depends upon scientific findings as they 'may' be delivered to the public.
